Southampton in terrible form. Boss' job under threat. Look out of sorts and out of their depth in this league. Dr. Tottenham gives Southampton 2-0 win.

Just kidding. 5-0 Spurs.

I have been drinking though
:davieshmm:

Not many teams will pick up points away at Southampton this year

A narrow defeat wouldn't be a disaster , a point would be a dream scenario

Let's get behind big Ange and the boys

They all read this forum and I'm sorry , i have to say it, I think the constant negativity on this forum is seriously threatening to sabotage our season

Get behind the team , they are improving every week , there are clear signs of progress , do your job and back them

3 nil Southampton

Against every instinct.. I do think we win this and may even look as though we've played well.

I know. I know

I just think that Russell Martin is the most naive manager in the league.. Or equal most. And he won't make allowances to exploit our numerous and obvious weakness.

He'll try to play us at our own game and we do have more firepower.

And if we got the win, I'd be thrilled and would enjoy it.. But then very quickly realise that there's no future in it. We never kick on and we never progress.

Porro had a poor game and Spence should play. We have 2 suspensions and a major cup match the following Thursday and so maybe even Regulon gets a game or half a game as he is not match fit. Son needs resting for Thursday.
Forester,
Spence, Gray, Dragusin, Regulon
Bergvall. Sarr, Maddison,
Johnson, Solanke, Kula
That leaves Porro, Udogie, Son & Werner as the only senior players on the bench
We are down to the bare bones.
