I think the only way Ange is successful here and sees out the season is if he trusts in the youth!
DJed needs a good run in the side , same for Bergvail , gray is just going to be ridiculously good as well , with a few experienced additions added in this team has the potential for greatness!

You have to play with the players you have though. Ange obviously sees the talent in Archie Gray and he's therefore giving him plenty of gametime. Whether that be out of position or not. Being able to play multiple positions is definitely a plus in my mind than a negative. He gives us options. It would be great to see him play at the 6, but Ange obviously doesn't see him as a better option than Sarr and Bissouma right now. But it's hard to argue that he isn't our twelfth man right now to put it in basketball terms. And having a stronger bench is what we all wanted before going into this season. It's hard to say we don't have that now with Archie, Bergvall and Richarlison if he's ever fit.

I hope we aren't starting Bissouma in CM next season. Nor Bentancur. Neither are good 6s unfortunately.
Bissouma ought to be sold.

It's nice that Gray is versatile, and I wouldn't mind him learning other positions, but to do so at the complete exclusion of his future position just seems wasteful to me. I don't like it at all.

Needed that.

Thought Sonny looked bothered for once.

Southampton still had their chances though.

Johnson on the pitch still like playing with ten men.

Only negative I can think of was once it became the Johnson porro axis of terror we were more open .
Southampton's disallowed goal for example. Acres of space, porro nowhere to be seen.

I'm really starting to not rate him as a rb. Think he needs to switch roles
