Nah that isn't true. You have no idea what the story is. I bet it's more nuanced. When the fans went for Ange and Spence went straight over to pull him away and stand up for him I just thought this isn't as straight forward as we think.
Looking at the lineups I thought this was going to be quite difficult.
2 midfielders that are not very proactive with the ball. Kulusevski who's more of a 10 than a winger. Son who's in a bad run of form. Not much attacking firepower in general. If they parked the bus this could easily have been one of those games where we just fanny around in the opposition's half without any conviction. Thankfully they decided to do the exact opposite and went with press full length of the pitch. We don't experience many problems playing against teams like these in general.
Good win entering into the busiest period of the calendar. Even better to be able to stay fresh for a big cup game mid week.

The same people complaining are also the same people who moan that we work the players too hard.
That second half was a 45 minute breather. Could not have gone better.
We have a League Cup QF against Man Utd on Thursday, following by Liverpool in the PL on Sunday. Considering our injuries situation, and with the game won at half time; there was no way the players were going to bust a gut and risk getting injured.
