We’re all managers on this forum but, and a huge BUT, Angie s with these chaps all the time should know more than most, meaning strengths and weaknesses. Kind of like knowing your wife, so maybe his strange fear of changes is only because he knows. We’ve had managers that knew and were outspoken, Conte, for example. I fear but hold on to the fact that we are SPURS.

Great result and excellent performance . Managed the second half very well and to keep a clean sheet is a big positive .
Even Liverpool had to work very hard to beat this lot recently !
Madisson was very good but got to mention Djed Spence . Thought he had a great game which started very early with his lovely assist for the opener . Always available and the first one to chase back when the ball was lost . Definitely deserves a run in the side now and very handy he can play on either side .

Yeah he's awful defensively. No two ways about it.
2 goals, 2 assists, 1 big chance created...his attacking skills are overrated. I've honestly never been impressed by his offensive game.
Not a 42mil player and if Spurs really were genuine about winning, he wouldn't start.

I dunno. Occam’s razor and all that. Managers are not going to freeze out a good player just for the sake of it. He’s obviously a bit of a challenge.
I wanna see him take risks, I wanna see that running + creating + shooting he showed in Sweden. He looks stifled with us. A lot of passing sideways + backwards. Think that's on the man in the dugout.
I really think people need to mindful of simply repeating the kind of BS Spence has had over and over. If we'd said to Genoa 5m they take him. Farke people have notoriously fallen out with.Warnock is a cretin, Conte was definitely sticking it to Levy. Djed Spence is perfectly capable of playing EPL football if he has issues we don't know about the club need to be transparent. If not the coach looks ridiculous.
I understand that- still- to give someone with a supposed attitude issue a contract extension so recently? It's just really bizarre, and I think you would have to agree on that. Somehow he has been frozen out of THFC for the better part of 3 seasons, has a known attitude issue, but then we decide to extend his contract? How does he simultaneously have an attitude issue and not even be worth 10m to Genoa (almost a worthless contract), and then suddenly, while he's been completely on the outskirts of the squad, become worthy of an extension? It's utterly bizarre.

The southies were atrocious, but hey...you can only beat what's in front of you. And God did we need that win.
Big Dom the main negative for me. We just don't utilise him offensively, it's crazy...bet he's frustrated the way things are going for him, especially tonight seen how many we scored. He was a ghost throughout.
