Conte is absolutely in love with this guy for some reason. The difference in attacking threat between our left hand side and right is night and day but Chicken Royal keeps on starting. It’s getting to Dele and Poch levels of undroppable. Only problem is at least with Poch I could understand it somewhat as Dele used to be good. Chicken Royal has been alright at best from day one.
Very true. We really are one paced. Even Richarlison whilst relatively sharp isn’t the quickest. If you don’t have much pace in the side then you have to create space by moving the ball quickly which we don’t seem able to do. Kane and Son don’t seem to offer movement either which doesn’t help. Conte earn your money

It's a very worrying pattern developing from both the team performances and Conte. He's proving to be very inflexible, showing poor tactical decisions eg not subbing early enough, keeping out of form players in the team, not being ruthless enough with players over poor form and general team play.
I mean I can't know what he's saying behind closed doors, but whatever he's doing or saying, these donuts aren't taking on board the tactical instructions well enough and cohesively delivering the cutting edge he requires. Of course the players are largely to blame but the worrying thing with Conte is he's not being ruthless and flexible enough to really change things up with the team sheet and style of play. Bring on some talented and hungry youth I think for starters!

Perisic had his worst game for us, Rich's decision making was terrible, Harry couldn't pass the ball, Bent and Hog were useless but what is the point of Royal leaving our half?
He had 3 golden chances and blew them all. His last attempt at a cross was awful, awful awful. All his previous attempts were just awful.
His man for the corner goal and nutmegged for the next goal.

Funny I’ve been saying that for ages but get shot down by prays who keep going on about winning when playing crap. Well you can’t play crap all season and hope to win more than you lose or draw. Like I said the results could easily have gone the other way and no one could say we didn’t set we it.
well the 2 in midfield are in a losing battle before kick off because they are outnumbered, cant typically blame them per se, they are setup to fail in essence.

He was always technically erratic so you wondered how he would fare once he lost his pace. Who knows?
Not sure what is issue with him using subs or bringing them on so late. He’s showing no trust in the squad players and they’re getting no game time. One of this clubs strengths is its strength in depth but we’re not flexing it. It’s going to be a very long season if he only uses 13/14 players from the squad and 11 of them play 90% of the minutes
