I’m not knee jerking and we were lucky to get away with 2-0!!
I sometimes wonder if people like you actually watch the game

They were by far the better side and also went to Frankfurt and won 3-0 so why are they “that good”???

Sounds pretty good to me and like I said we’ll be lucky to scrape 2nd unless Conte learns some hard lessons quickly

Lucky to lose 2 nil?

We were watching different games in that case.

We were not brilliant by any stretch but strictly on the game, we had control even if they were at times more incisive.

I am no rose-tinted fan but definitely disagree with you in respect of this match.

We played a decent team tonight. Very canny. Had 100% concentration.

I thought we'd win at least get the draw.

But fair play to them. They got a great header at the death. And then we went to sleep at the back for the second.

Royal is poor. Going forward and defensively. He's as good as Aurier. So not good.

Switch him out and we would have got probably the draw.

Richarlison looked great again.

Its only game week 2. I see us and them fighting it out for the top 2.

That second goal might hurt us

Right wing back still a massive problem.Sick of Royal smiling.Time for Doherty or definitely worth giving Spence a decent run. Also time to give Bissouma a game -he looks a massive talent. Our Swedish winger should be in our first eleven at all times and Davies looks decent in a back 3 until he crosses the half way line!

You'll have to pardon me for not reading through this thread, but after only an hour's kip since yesterday morning, I've just got enough energy to post this.
The game was not very good. Hugo made two excellent saves. Can't understand why Antonio doesn't make better use of the bench when things aren't going well and we've got a game on Saturday. We were settling for a draw and it blew up in our faces.
Only highlights were meeting deadleyledley and his friend and Mr & Mrs 1chriswaddle , there's some lovely people on this forum, thanks to them that this trip wasn't a total disaster. Also saw Sandro on the way in, managed to get a picture with him.
I've just devoured a HUGE bag of crisps to the point I'm feeling a bit sick and now going to get some shut-eye. Hope I wake up before I need to check out.
I'd like to think that it'll look better in the morning.......but doubt it!

Ok but I can’t really remember their keeper having to make a meaningful save unlike Hugo who made two worldies and also conceded two goals

Can any of you “away supporters” with appalling records please stay away in future? I have a very decent away record (1/1 win- ok it was a friendly in Scotland) but am happy to carry this great fortune forward for the greater good.
Rather fancy Marseilles. My cousin lives there, speaks French & reckons he’s hard. Leeds fan.
2/3 ain’t bad.

Any chance of a creative midfielder - 🤔 - NOPE
The only explanation is Levy is a psychopath and deliberately excludes buying a major piece to the team dynamics when we're just on the cusp of reaching another level as a club.

I for one think he needs to do a public lie detector test to see if he's actually a gooner in disguise. I have a feeling it could end up like something out of scooby doo where someone realises the gooner disguise and rips off the bald nonce costume he's been wearing and underneath its Paul Merson sweating like a pig.

You’ve summed it up perfectly. Sleep well and safe journey home.✈️

All over reacting cunts are getting blocked. Some of you are absolute man childs. So go on…life losers like Gazzapen Gazzapen , keep crawling out of the gooner woodwork so I can identify and block your whiny asses.

Anyone suddenly Conte out can get in the sea and stay there.
I’m not Conte out but I have been saying all season his lack of subs is frustrating and will cost us. Today it did. No excuse not to use Spence or Sess or Bissouma when it was 0-0.

I agree. But I don't think Conté has faith in what he has. He is known to be stubborn. I think he is showing Levy who really should be in charge. He is showing Levy, 'They won't play if I don't believe they good enough'.

I understand some believe Conté received what he wanted this window, I don't think so. He had 3 DM in PEH, Skipp and Bentancur, why Bassouma? I don't believe any Manager would like to have no AM in his whole team. We don't have one player other than Perisic that can deliver a decent cross. We still don't have a backup striker. We still using Davies and Dier in the Backline. Much as I applaud their passion and work ethic, most of our players would not make it into any of the other top six team. We just don't have the quality needed. Only one man is to blame for that.
Bassouma? Conté?

Who are these people?

Well , to say I was disappointed with that is a bit of an under statement . Why do we play at a pedestrian rate? We look like we are just going through the motions at times . It makes it so much harder to then step it up .It must be time to give some squad players game time as we desperately need a spark .
I have faith that Conte will get it right but it is a bit of an ordeal to watch us at the moment . Felt a bit sorry for the faithfuls that travelled out there to witness that .
Let’s put fucking Leicester to the sword on Saturday . COYS
Watching us play has been ultimately the same for 80% of our games:

Tedious
Boring
Predictable
Frustrating

How on gods green earth do these players and Conte not quickly recognise the faults in the teams style of play and lacklustre performances, adapt tactically and sort out the basics, being lack of intensity, lack of fluid attacking passing sequences, giving players with the ball multiple options, and finally the hunger to fucking kill off the opponent ASAP.

Jesus christ dude. We've lost 1 and drawn 2 since April.

You're acting like we're in a relegation fight, get a sense of perspective.
