Why is Son starting tonight? I know he will score a hat trick BUT he needs a break and with Sunday game was off, it was the best opportunity to let him loose against Leicester.

It’s a bit strange. People’s militant defence of Sonny on his awful run of form reminds me of the devout loyalty that some on here had towards Dele. It would probably do Sonny some good to have a bit of a break and a refocus. In the meantime we have alternatives that are in better form than him. We cannot expect to continue winning matches at this level if we are carrying passengers. At this stage that is what Sonny has been for the vast majority of this season. I am sure he could refind his form but this should happen from the bench
