Disallowed goal aside and not sure if it should have stood or not but once again another dire turgid display. 2nd half was better but the first half was as dull and boring as I have ever seen.
These players can’t keep crying that they want CL football but when they do get it stick in a performance like they did and have done in pretty much every game.
Why decide to start playing in the 2nd half? Why not do that from the start? Give the crowd something to cheer about instead of pissing everyone off.
The atmosphere at the start was decent but as soon as we started the game any anticipation was sucked out.
Most were so angry with the first half, that when we started playing in the 2nd half, the damage was already done and it’s difficult to get rid of that anger.
It’s shocking to watch and something has to change pretty soon.

Showed a quick angle they wanted seen and thats it. 4 min to find that angle

Playing well doesn't guarantee anything, but it does tend to improve your chances of winning.
Playing poorly sees us on 8 points from 5 in possibly the weakest CL group of all time, that's not down to this one bad call, that's down to us having been pathetic.
The side need to wake the fuck up, not excuses it away by blaming a shit VAR call.
The way I see it all those moaning about being robbed are the ones feeling sorry... I'm fucking angry, at our own players.

There's a lot wrong with VAR but not least is the fact the camera angles are shite.

According to their lines it was, but there's no way to prove they've drawn them right. I'd make the lines fatter and if they overlap then no offside. At least that allows for some margin of error.

He was laughing because he was probably trying to tell our players that the decision was out of his hands which it was sadly

For example Spams hand ball goal against Saints should never have been allowed

The direction the ball is travelling is irrelevant under the offside rule.
The question is whether the defender intentionally played it. VAR have decided not which i disagree with given he has put his body there to stop it coming into the box
I was responding to someone who said we played well the second half, but it was only actually really the last 25 minutes where we played well and put them under sustained pressure - not really a point, just an observation.
And yes, we were still robbed.
Just heard someone in TV says it’s when the guy passing the ball first touches it, not when he releases it. I’d bet that BS is not drawn from when it goes on Royal’s head, but from a split second later when it comes off the head.
