That is fucking disgusting. 94 quid. Newcastle a cat A game. We have a mid table squad, a conveyor belt of one crap player after another , and they think 94 quid is reasonable .

ENIC want as many season ticket holders as possible as it represents stable income. Back in the day when the majority of fans paid on the day the attendance levels fluctuated more in line with performance. I can remember after a particularly poor run and bad defeat we had 19000 for a home match v Blackpool.
Therefore if Season ticket holders cannot sell their tickets at present it does not harm the club. However if a significant number of season ticket holders gave up their tickets and matches were not sell outs then that would.
I read that ticket prices for recent cup matches and the forthcoming League cup match is much lower. That can only mean that the club are having trouble selling tickets probably reflected by the state of the club’s form.

I would pay those prices for, a team that regularly challenges and wins stuff.
But for a mid table team such is our club now, with average signings is a fucking joke.

When we were still at the old WHL this isn’t exactly the dream that was sold was it.
The football club is just part of this multi sports and entertainment arena we play in. We are just seen as customers now. Nothing else. I pray one day we will be real football club again, but for the foreseeable future it doesn’t look good .

Wait for the fall out when Man Utd try and charge London prices next season . Clubs charge what they think they can sell so only half empty grounds will stop them.
Fair enough, I thought it an obvious signing at the time. Double deal with Richy. It reminded me of the Sir Les/Ginola from Newcastle and Reid/Daws from Forest where the secondary target goes on to be the better one.

This is a horrible fixture for us. The barcodes have come into a bit of form whilst the number of our players unavailable to us seems to grow every week. I suspect we will start well and fade. First goal will be all important but I get the impression the tank will empty on 60 minutes and the geordies will score a couple in the last 15 to run out 3-1 winners.

Started well & were 2 up within 12 mins , Solanke brace from the kick off Werner got sent off & from THAT free kick Dragusin gave away a penalty & got a red . Down to 9 men within 15 mins

From the kick off we’re trying to be cautious when Deki shoots from 25 yards out to get top bins 3-1 somehow Solanke gets his hat trick on 27 mins 4-1 only to concede again on the 32nd min 4-2.. The crowd started to get restless after 47 seconds of no goal mouth action so we bloody gifted the toon 2 goals before halftime
I called for calm at halftime as all good managers should and played slightly more defence minded looking to catch them on the break

Actually this is complete bollocks.
There were 5 Cat A, 9 Cat B and 5 Cat C games until 2022/23 and then in 2023/24 it changed to 6/9/4 with Barcodes moving up to Cat A and one of the Cat C games falling off. Not sure where I got Spam dropping from A to B though as it looks like it's always been B. TBH I probably just made it up.

Tbh its a bit of a disgrace were worried abour an eddie howe team. Dont get me wrong a decent manager but not a great manager. Our standards have dropped. Under poch i would see this as no less as routine win.
Remember the day Tim Krul faced the record number of shots in a premier league game and we still lost 1-0
That was under Poch who also struggled with low block teams

This happened with Poch too. We had like 30 shots and De Gea had a worldie, the Leicester season against West Brom we had about 30 shots too. Happened a lot.
