Started well & were 2 up within 12 mins , Solanke brace from the kick off Werner got sent off & from THAT free kick Dragusin gave away a penalty & got a red . Down to 9 men within 15 mins

From the kick off we’re trying to be cautious when Deki shoots from 25 yards out to get top bins 3-1 somehow Solanke gets his hat trick on 27 mins 4-1 only to concede again on the 32nd min 4-2.. The crowd started to get restless after 47 seconds of no goal mouth action so we bloody gifted the toon 2 goals before halftime

I called for calm at halftime as all good managers should and played slightly more defence minded looking to catch them on the break

This is a horrible fixture. Their midfield of Joelinton, Bruno G and Tonali is very good, and will be hard to stop controlling the game. Isak is in the form of his life, and Gordon is playing very well. I don't hold much hope at all, especially with the injuries and suspensions we have.

The only difference between me and them is I know nothing we can do will get them out. They have everything they ever wanted right now. An absolute gold mine that has hugely diversified income streams.

If ticket sales ever dropped, I reckon they'd just increase the number of season tickets to try to get them bought before the seasons of the future go to shit.

I know what you mean regarding the tickets are already sold but optics-wise , empty seats is not a good look for the entertainment complex .

It’s a big ask but if all people who go but are disgruntled just didn’t show up for 1 game and didn’t resell , it’d be interesting to see how many didn’t show up but I also understand that for many going to a game is an escape from day to day life

The old trick lower league clubs do. Buy a 5 year season ticket for the price of 4, not realising 3 of those season will be in the Championship... Levynomics right there. We are just a tourist hot spot now... Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Eye, Tottenham Stadium... all in the same brochure.

Newcastle will rip us to shreds and if they don't they should be embarrassed.

We can't cope with them at present. It's that simple.

It is the same aa a few years ago when Bournemouth played us, and Howe waa their manager. I think we beat them by 4 and Howe said we were too strong, too powerful. Too good.

That is Newcastle right now and we are possibly the easiest team to play against.

This game pairs galore and you can get groups of 3 and 4

Those are all long standing season ticket holders in that area.

I think unless people literally can’t go then will go along. Like you say. It’s a release from life. You are throwing money away if the tickets don’t get used.

If I couldn’t go I used to give my tickets to some of the families at my football club who I knew were spurs supporters but couldn’t afford to go normally.

At least they got used that way. Doesn’t show up levy though…….tough thing to do.

Thanks Will - I still haven't take my son to the new stadium. I'm trying not to do it to him but it's too late... once you get them that first replica kit you've signed them up to a life of misery. He actually said to me after we lost to Ipswich "Why did you do it dad, at least you've seen them win something, I'll never see them win anything other than the stupid fucking Tiger Cup" I mean what can I say? He reminds me of a young me when I use to come home Saturday evening and have the right hump until we played (and lost) again. I've tried taking him to non league and he does enjoy it but he can't get Spurs out of his system. It's like virus slowly eating him from the inside out. There is no cure either... it's just 75+ more years of palliative care.

There should be people on here who are STs that might sell you their tickets if they can’t make a game.

If you and your son have a CRN it saves you buying a membership.
