Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Were Newcastle ever really in danger of not winning this game? I’m not sure. We huffed and puffed but it wasn’t enough.
Any team with DJed Spence and Archie Gray and Reggie as their defence should be smashing this shit geordie side.
You can’t deny the second half performance deserved a point at the very least, we fought hard but again, the issue is bigger than one game and one half of football.

👍

Because we lost .. another game. At home. And are 11th and likely to be 12th by the end of the day. And a few points off 14th with some tough fixtures round the corner.

How is this hard to understand, how fucking shit we are doing in terms of a bigger picture? Did we play OK at times today? Sure. Does it mean much when we are losing every single fucking game? Not really no.

Absolutely baffling that people seem to want positivity after another home loss. We’re on an absolutely abysmal run.

There appears to be a belief that results will all of a sudden turn from losses into wins once two centre halfs and a goalkeeper returns to the fold.

We pretty much had a starting midfield and forward line on the pitch at some stage today.

I didn't see a likely draw coming along, let alone a win.

Before the injuries, our form was really not that much better.

Nobody’s beaten Southhampton 5-0 since us. Not Liverpool, not Fulham. What about the City, Villa and West Ham games, were they dog shit? No.
lol Southampton sacked their manager after we pumped them and since aren’t so open.

The City, Villa and West Ham games were great. Of course they were. But everyone is beating City and West Ham, we do tend to beat teams that are silly enough to take us on. You champion three standout victories and I’ll look at the ten defeats, multiple draws and one dimensional tactics.

I do agree there are some that come across as trolls but I could also argue the same stands for some of the people who only follow the club because Ange is the manager and only signed up here the second we hired him.

It goes both ways imo.
Yep, I don't disagree that we'd be better off without any 'fans' who are here just because of Ange, but there is a huge difference to the group I'm talking about: when Ange leaves, those who are only here for him will leave too; conversely, when Ange leaves, the people who are eternally joyful at our failures will stay and continue to hate on everything related to the club - all future managers, players, board, owners, medical team, everything they can possibly complain at.

This doesn't really make sense because most of them admit that ENIC don't care about their opinions, and are extremely unlikely to go anywhere because of their ranting, so then what are they trying to do, what's the point of all the hate of everything about the club and joy at our failures? If you can't support the club despite hating the owners, and you accept that the owners aren't going anywhere soon, then why support at all, why not just go and do something else?

Btw I don't include everyone who is 'ENIC Out' in my criticism here at all - there are only a few who are clearly genuinely gleeful whenever we are struggling, most 'ENIC Out' fans recognise that their complaints won't actually change anything, and so actually support the football team whilst still expressing their dislike for the owners, which is a perfectly sensible position to take if you support Spurs but hate the owners (or a particular manager etc). I have no problem with those people, they are genuine Spurs fans. But the tiny group who actually continually want us to fail and laugh when it happens are not true fans.

It’s hand ball. Fucking nonsense around it. That goal is never given against another top 6 team (not that we are a top 6 team anymore of course).

I’m not into any conspiracy bullshit, we see shit like this happening to every team every week it’s just human error or poor rules or badly interpreted rules whatever. We’ve had stuff go for us and stuff go against us.

I just thought this one was clearly something that should’ve been blown up because it resulted in a goal and he does move his hand towards the ball ever so slightly to block Berg vowels pass he was trying to stop us breaking not create something but he ended up creating a goal.

One week close to another one you can hound out of the club in 12 months.
18 months and potentially 4 transfer windows with nearly £400M spent. Think today we played well 2nd half when we got wide and crosses it. However only porro put in good balls. The rest inclu deli were awful. Think we should have got a draw but didn’t really create and great chances.
No idea why we didn’t run at burn more and also why we never cross the ball.

You'll never sing that

More than just them, happy to play the 18 year old Gray at CB out of position but can't look at say 19 year old Dorrington in our own u21 side to fill in? With Austin's performance would we have really been worse off with him in the sticks than Forster?

I don't think Ange is very good at recognising talent frankly, I think he plays senior players at every given opportunity out of fear of being called out, and it's been massively to his detriment. We have run Kulu into the ground at the expense of giving Bergvall minutes despite looking bright in every appearance bar 1 or 2 10 min cameos so far. I could go along some way with the absolutely shocking results we've had if it actually felt like our youth players were rapidly progressing, in the mould of players like Kane and Alli when they came into the side at very young ages, but frankly the only youth player who has seen serious gametime is Gray and not one minute of that has come in his natural position. I won't fault him for Moore's injury but Dorrington and Lankshear's lack of inclusion frustrates me, there's no way you can convince me with the results we've had we'd have been worse off giving these guys a serious run out to see what they're capable of, particularly against some of the weaker EL and league opposition.
To be fair to the man he started Moore in the PL away to palace , but yeah I tend to agree with you in that he doesn’t have a clue about the players who train but aren’t playing regular.
His management of the squad is shocking , next player out will be Kulu as it’s obvious he is running on fumes now
