Front three have been poor but the service to them has been awful. Our midfield is non existent. Bentantcur in a role he cannot play and gives away a silly penno. Bergvail offers nothing defensively and they are strolling past him. Sarr has not had a kick of the ball.

TBF - this was to be expected. Not our best 11, playing in what feels like a meaningless tie, with very depleted forward options - all leads to what we just witnessed. Somehow we've kept it scoreless - and that's what Frank has to rely on this year - our defence keeping clean sheets.

I get what you mean butt 1-2 elites player rather than 3-4 average ones then let the kids fill in the depth. Hopefully our recruitment is better in the future.

Exactly. I was thinking the same the other day. He had that period under conte where he looked class, did his ACL whilst in top form and since then he’s largely been either average or rubbish. I just don’t see what he actually excels at nowadays .
