Match Spurs v Villa Sunday 26 Nov 2pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Deservedly beaten, as we were at Wolves.

If you can't defend, you don't win football matches. If you can't score, you don't win football matches. If you don't give your all for 90+ mins, you know the story (fyi that's 5 goals conceded in stoppage time across the last 3 games).

Clear lack of quality, even with some of our starters. Clear lack of intelligence/cuteness...that Emerson possession right at the end sums it up 😶🔫 Not brave enough either, coaching staff included...Skipp over Donley?! Veliz on at the 87th min?!

Gonna be a long long stretch til February...
This was quite different to the wolves game...we created a lot, hit the post twice and 2 or was it 3 disallowed goals. Hard to say the the manager was not brave enough with the team he picked...

And all below us in the league :sonhmm:
Yeah ours only started a few games a go. Injuries are a massive part of it so you need very good squad depth. We have played 3 with lots of injuries & lost them all. Let’s not pretend it wouldn’t have affected previous games if the injuries happened then. Newcastle had 14 out.
I am agreeing with you anyway in the sense injuries are killers! So you need to more than 2 good CBs to get through a season. More than one good creative midfielder & a lot better striker options than we have!
But yes the performances ange is getting out of the weaker players is still pretty impressive.

Also the tackles on our players are a disgrace. Cash that bad he had to be hooked at half time. Refs clearly choose to ignore the deliberate injurying of players. Wed have 10 reds this season if we tackled like that

I haven't read this thread (been watching the football)

Does anyone else think we were denied a clear penalty early on, when Gil got a massive, deliberate forearm smash in the face that put him down? I do. VAR fucks it up again.

Or does anyone think it was a minor, accidental clash, like VAR does?

The cunts are out in full force now. All were probably licking their chops at the second Villa goal to compete in the negativity and antagonizing circle jerk.

VAR wasn't even working at that stage of the game.

Which is shambolic in itself.

4 points off the top with a list of injuries which is increasingly frustrating. I’m not too disheartened by the performance. We looked ragged towards the end but kept on going. We should have put the game to bed with the chances we had.
We definitely need to back this manager through thick and thin. The glory will come if we have a little more luck with injuries.
We are getting hammered with them and the bench is very weak
We don't have much choice than to back him, nobody has succeeded at this club in recent times.
Whether that continues, remains to be seen, but it doesn't matter who is in charge, it's always a similar story, one crisis after another.
It might be a few weeks before, the team wins another game again.
