that's just some person that's been through a lot I would say.

did you post this for a laugh? pretty sad. I'd delete if I were you.

Fuck's sake. Lost so much intensity this half, and Emery's tactical subs paying off (unsurprisingly).

Edit: crowd magnificent though.
Yes now it’s been a few games now where a he has been foi g the ol conte leave ir till last minute to do subs.
Still think he seems too scared to play any of our academy players. Don’t think one has seen daylight yet he plays velez and other transfer players who are young. I know we don’t see them all the time but at some stage he needs to have some faith in them. No point everyone on here keep going on about how well the U21/19/23 are doing if those players are not getting a single minute. Today I’d rather see what Donnelly could than wait for Johnson to make something happen. We were losing anyway and Johnson did f all in his preferred RE slot not sure what he was gonna do on the left. People around me were urging him to go down the line but he never did.

Haven’t read any other comments so I don’t know what people made of the game. Don’t think you can criticise the effort that Spurs put in today. Even felt Lo Celso put in a real shift today. But you can put all the effort in in the world but if you continually play poorly in the final third choosing the wrong pass or straying offside or failing to finish very good chances then more often than not you are going to come up short. I still think if we can get all of our players back in say Feb then we can have a late push up into the CL places.

If you want to watch the football Emery served up today, then nobody is stopping you.

If hacking, and counter-attack is "tactics" Villa can keep Emery. I'm already losing interest in the Premier League after Levy thinking we could win with "Tactical" managers, a snidey cheating Spanish manager would probably be the final straw.

Maybe I need an excuse to stop giving the premier league my time....
When we have our best players back Posto can go one dimensional again. In the meantime he needs to adapt and be realistic, that's what good managers do.

We just haven't been good enough in either box, but very good in between them.
Makes you wonder why we paid so much for Johnson rather than getting a goal scoring CF. Hope I’m wrong but this guy has not shown anywhere near the quality required for the fee we have paid, him and kulu don’t seem to beat anyone. At least kulu today tried to press and put some effort in even though he either delayed with the ball to long or his crossing was dhite.

It would be a different conversation if we scored from a dozen or so of great chances created today. We're in unheard of run of bad luck

On the way home from WHL and have this to offer:

Outside the ground felt flat - like a fan base with the wind taken out of their sails. Team selection was surprising - I think I predicted at the time a cricket score either way. Atmosphere was the most downbeat and quiet this season (maybe someone else might have a different opinion).

Some of the football Spurs played 1st half was outstanding. Felt like it was just a case of putting one of the first few chances away and we’d be off to the races. By the time we’d fluffed our 4th and 5th chance I felt like I’d read this script many times before. Predicted a defeat at HT as Villa couldn’t be that poor 2nd half and I thought we’d drop off.

I’m back to thinking that this sodding club is cursed again. The injuries and suspensions alongside the Spursy fragility and predictability is frankly depressing.

We’ll get ironed out in Manchester next Sunday, then we are looking at 4 defeats in a row with West Ham looking to make it 5 next week.

To end on a positive, the football was exhilarating at times. GLC had a very good game. Porro and Udogie all over the show (in a largely good way), Bentancur running things. It clicks (albeit for 45-60 mins) almost every week, just have to look back over the last 3 games to see where points have been lost (yes Romero I’m looking at you…)

Spurs fans had something to make them think football was worth the effort again for about a minute.

Not sure why you would go to the game and not sing your balls off. What is the point in going if you don't.

You don't get it do you? This is about the bigger picture, forget short term results. We all wanted a change in mentality from the players AND the fans, and this is how you do it. This is how we play now, who we are.

Fuck the here and now we are building for the future and everyone needs to get on the train and get ready for the ups and downs, it will make us stronger in the end. The players trust Ange and we all need to too.

If we keep on losing, the trust will start to waiver, there is no hiding from that, so hopefully we can pick up some points after the next few weeks.

Unfortunately this would seem to be a bit of a common theme. We had enough good chances to win 3 matches. We always seem to give opposing keepers the chance to make world class saves. We just seem to lack the clinical edge in front of goal.
