There should not be anything incompatible about playing aggressively and being smart and closing out the half or game.
I think we will have to sign another CB we only have 2 because it's obvious Ange doesn't rate Dier so I do legit think we will sign a CB I'd expect

Yes we play better football but surely Ange is going to be out smarted in many games where oppo just has to drop off. They know we will just have our CBs passing the ball to each other as we have no real width with FBs and play with inverted wingers who always just come inside or go back. He meefs to have some other coaching tactics if we don’t have Maddison. Let’s face it once the suspended players are back it only leaves mvv a CB and MADDs out. With the money we have spent surely we can still well? We spent nearly £50M on Johnson when we needed to spend else where. We have academy players ripping it up but not get any first team minutes. We can’t keep making exscuses of players being out. Ange and the team have to step up and we also need to start crossing the ball into the box better and also switching the play from wing to wing quicker and better.

You're wrong. A manager can only get the best out of what he's got. If the whole is lacking, then there are definite limits to what he can achieve. You want him to turn base metals into gold. He's not an alchemist....
He had some good moments and, in some ways, appears to be a better fit to the manager's system.
