Match Spurs v Wolves. Sunday December 29, 2024. Kick Off 15:00. Not on TV.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Our biggest problem atm is most of our fit players are having to play every 3 days, so fatigue will be an issue.

It won't help that Dragusin got taken off 10 mins early, and even fit enough for this match I imagine he''ll be veery careful about putting pressure on whatever caused him to come off. Spence will also miss this match after 2 yellow cards today.

If Davies is fit, he'll need to start - certainly not ideal after just coming back from injury. Noy sure if any of the u21' defenders (Alfie Dorrington CB or Maeson King LB are at the right level to step up. We might even see Bissouma start as a CB alongside Gray, with Davies at LB ?

Wolves players flying all over the place... this is what new manager bounce does... this Wolves team look unrecognisable from two weeks ago and unless we score early and often, I fear another dissapointing result.

That's why I'm so confident. We're essentially playing a worse version of ourselves.

No way it goes wrong.

I don't even want to guess the team. Dragusin and Spence both out. Not sure if Davies is back and Udogie unlikely to be able to start 2 games in 3 days if just back from injury. Dorrington has to play here I imagine and Gray moves to left back. WE ARE IN THE TRENCHES.... Cunha will rip us apart

We'll win this.

-They already rode the high of new manager bounce. We're fortunate in this respect.
-Their manager is actually one of those notepad merchants who is vastly underqualified for this level.
-They have little depth, meaning that fatigue will be a significant issue.
- They are very fragile at the back. Doherty starts at CB, their choice of keepers are Sa and Johnstone, and Ait Nouri doesn't have much interest in defending. They were leaking goals like crazy under O'neil, and I don't expect them to turn into a defensive powerhouse overnight.

Like any half decent winger does, especially in transition, Cunha will probably cause big trouble. But I still think we can outscore them if it comes down to it.

I know we're terrible. I was only half serious.

But they're managed by a guy who spends every game rewriting War and Peace on the sidelines.

We know what kind of teams cause us trouble. Ones that can sit back, stay compact, absorb pressure, are not filled with individuals especially prone to unforced errors and lapses of concentration. Add to this couple of pacy frontline players, and we have a match on our hands. That's our destiny under Ange.

These lot can't really do these. Other than Cunha they're not really threatening up front. Some of the choices they have at the back are terrible. They were used to leaking insane amount of goals under an Ange-like manager. They'll probably be slightly tidier and more compact at the back, but old habits die hard. I don't see them being able to shut up shop for 90 min.

I see a win that'll convince some to hop right back on the Ange bandwagon, bold claims of us turning a corner, and how we'll go on a 15 game win streak as soon as injured players come back.
