It does allow for devastating counterattacks though.
That's our path to winning this game, gotta go with pace and intent upon winning the ball.
A decent keeper wouldn't have been stumbling around like he's drunk and might have been able to save a header that was straight down the middle.
We need to start the second half with more intensity, and not just sit back in a 5-4-1 low block. I thought we looked alright when we won the ball back in their half and started some quick counter attacks.
Obviously a lot easier said than done, more likely we need to hope we get another goal in the first 20 or so minutes before the players get scared and sit deep for the rest of the game.

The thing that bothers me more with Hugo is how awful his kicking is at this point. There were more than a couple times in that 1st half where he had time and just casually pinged it in the middle of the pitch straight back to Brighton. Doing that is so dangerous in the middle of the pitch because they carried the ball right back up when we were out of shape and had good chances from it.
At least he used to punt it out to the side, doing that in the middle of the pitch is suicidal.
Agreed point is Brighton have a clear way of how they want to play. If De Zerbi was their second/third choice might be wise to look at the managers ahead of him.

Well this rwb /rb we spent all jan trying to get bcos of cunte saying he’d be a game changer has really worked out well. I see no discernible diff betw him and Doh. We needed a CB or creative player but no we had to buy another ficking rwb when we already had 3 on the books. Compete shit show and whoever was responsible should be anywhere near N17.
