You don’t seem to understand this forum. Why are you hell bent on trying to change it? If you don’t like it (here’s a hint, the majority do) use another forum and stop cluttering threads trying police it. Your one man “anti bullying” crusade is tiresome
Agree. I’m not convinced their centrebacks or keepers are great so it was a good tactic to avoid being closed down from the front.

I didn’t like us being so easy to be carved through in midfield yet again. It’s such a shame Bissouma isn’t back yet. Stick him in there as an extra body in midfield and it would solve a lot of problems.
We could play Sarr as an extra body, or play Dejan there and he would provide creativity as well.

Fucking hell, can we at least pretend to be “better” than the biased cunt fans of other clubs?

It’s a penalty 10/10 times, and this forum would be demanding an apology from that bald PGMOL-cunt if it had happened to us (again).
No one is disputing that at all.

It's far from bias when you see it happening all the time with little to no reaction, particularly when we're on the receiving end.
Yet we get one go our way and we're now seeing a pile-on from the media. FFS, who else would have Saggers on claiming that there's a case for the game to be replayed?

Do we have a religion thread?

Invite The Dealer on it or start up an antiques thread as he’s told us on numerous occasions that it’s antiquities that he deals in but some don’t listen!
I doubt it...
Same as we don't have a 'moving things with the power of your mind ' thread....

Cos neither things are REAL!!

GO GET ME JESUS... YOU FRAUD!

All you did was invent WHITE WINE and convince the world it was WATER... that's your BIG trick!

Well done Son!

Re: the subs...didn't you (and those around you ) think they should have been made loads earlier, given how our "plan" was clearly not working? I was howling on my family WhatsApp chat for changes to be made 15 minutes before, given how pedestrian we looked.

In fact, I'm almost wondering if we won regardless of those subs, it's not like we changed our shape or plan at al,l I I sort of think it's just that we got lucky.

Also, what was the feeling you got from those around you? Miserable grumpiness ( that was the go-to emotion whenever I was in the West Stand)? Anger???

Muat admit, I loved hearing the Pochettino, he's magic" song sung loud and proud

I was quite drunk, so the tactical subtleties of the game by-passed me, but I thought Danjuma made the run that allowed Kane the space to receive Hojbjerg's cut back.

I wasn't looking forward to going to this but in the end, really enjoyed it; two great goals, controversy, and a side-line 'punch-up'! Atmosphere was ok'sh in 'Park Lane' given the circumstances - even got a chant going! Not sure I want Poch back, but I sang his name anyway!

Not wanting to bully you but you can't say the bolded bit.

Yesterday it wasn't a penalty so this needs to be 9/10 times or, if you really want to emphasise your point, 9.9/10 times.

It's for decisions like yesterday that var was brought in to rectify. Its a penalty all day long so who the fuck is looking at that and saying it isn't a penalty. Like you say went in our favour today but if that was the other way round we'd be absolutely fuming. It's not doing what it is supposed to be doing It's not fit for purpose currently.
It’s fucking horrible that they can miss a call that simple. It’s clearly a pen, most of us called it in the game thread right away and yet the VAR blows it. I think the “clear and obvious error” is the part that is causing the issue. The VAR feels as though it has to be assault to overturn the on-field ref. But this isn’t some stupid reffing competition, VARs purpose is to call fouls correctly.

Guarantee that’s called a penalty in Europe. Europe has its own issues (mainly calling way too many handballs) but they do most things better than the EPL.

Totally agree. Anyone can see the last 2 games how disgracefully biased the media is. No one gets called out for getting decisions go for them like we do and nothing said when disgraceful decisions go against us.
Somehow i think if kane played for utd, woolwich, dippers not 1 word would have been said about him going down other night

Firstly let me say Brighton fans have every right to be aggrieved about yesterdays decisions, that's their job....ours is to take it on the chin when it goes against us and take it as a smile from lady luck when we profit.

Moving on and with regard to VAR whether or not you agree with its existence or otherwise the same dilemma exists i.e. human beings are prone to human error.

Anyways no fecker cries for us when we are hard done by so the amount of sympathy I have for shitting seagulls this fine morn cannot be measured by a micrometer.

Great 3 points as a reward for another soulless, headless chicken like performance. I have to own up to leaving the earliest (H was scoring as I went down the step) I have left a game....I did so for the benefit of those sat around me because I was starting to get on my own tits fuelled mostly by frustration of having to watch highly paid so called professionals produce an abundance of brain fart moments as individuals and a collective. Sonny produced a moment of exquisite beauty but was otherwise anonymous, PEH was Calamity James yet provided the assist for the winner and Hugo has realised he has no future in a distribution career when he calls it a day.

But they won't!

Well I didn't see THAT coming! Didn't have you down as they type tbh!

But seeing as you're here... care to shed some light on how come this year, Easter, Passover AND Ramadan fall in the same week/month?

Happy coincidence, that all THREE religions happen to have a holy festival that falls in the same WEEK (what were the chances, eh?)

Or is it more likely that it's a true sign that all religions basically have formed out of the same Pagan/Wicker/Nature based belief of the SEASONS that Spring is a time for REBIRTH, and forgiveness, and PLANTING THE SEED, and whatever....

I'm intrigued .... Genuinely!
Although probably not the subject matter for a football forum, eh?

Still.... any hole's a goal... thought I'd take a punt!👍
Listen you need to be careful how you talk about God and also you should never make assumptions on individuals okay. There is only one God and he can take many forms and representations. I respect other religions and apprciate how they have represented jesus christ in their interpretations based on the one true God. No, you are wrong they have not formed out of the same pagan. You have got this totally wrong. I am an orthodox baptised Christian and I take great offence in what you are saying. You can bust the gates of hell open like that even suggesting it. Listen people on here are listening in, so let's take this offline. Private message me and I have some great material for you to educate you in the bible and different perspectives and interpretations. Maybe we can meet at a local beer and bible group session and I will enlighten you as you have clearly been misled.

The very person I was quoting was disputing that?!

I feel absolutely nothing for Brighton fans. They and other fans laugh when we get the wrong decisions. Did any fan feel sorry for us when the absolute disgrace of a penalty was given against us against Southampton for that air kick. We having money in the bank here with decisions and we are still in debt and owed more.

I have some Brighton fans coming tonight as I have beer and bible at my local pub around easter. We talk about football and God with a few pints at my local. It is really fun and I am so glad I go into it knowing we won this game. I will make the points I have made here about our decisions in the past. If someone can list out all the decisions with var and referees that have cost us goals and points, it will be appreciated as I can use that. I may have missed some.
Good on you. But I would like to point out that Jesus turned water into wine and not Stella, even though he had the option of both.

When Jose said we were too nice and needed to be a bunch of cunts, he was including us the fans as well. Think we’re there now after all these years I’m finally seeing what fans from Manc, Scouse, blue scum, Real, Juve etc etc would say when they gain that advantage- tough shit and move on with the win.
I don’t give a monkeys about what Brighton fans feel or other oppo have to say. Fuck the lot. I hope all decisions fall our way until the end of season the football gods know we deserve it.

There was a 5 minute spell that resulted in our second goal, where we played with a real intensity, pushed up and pressed them. Of course, as soon as we got that goal we went limp again.

Brighton played with that kind of intensity for about 60-70 minutes, and really deserved to win.

This lack of intensity is fundamentally our biggest problem. Not our tactics or shape or personal. All those things are problematic too, but if you just apply a decent level of collective intensity to what you are doing you will compete better.

The only game I’ve seen is do this consistently was Chelsea at home. And we got the deserved rewards.

Conte was right, we are a lazy cowardly team. But we are that because that’s how we’ve been coached for the last three years (Edit - including by Conte)

Teams like Brighton are individually inferior to us, but are collectively superior, because they are coached to be.
