Also can we fucking win some second balls? The amount of first time headers or flicks we get something on just to let the opposition take a touch or sweep away the second is far to frequent to just be a coincidence.
Absolutely nailed it here - this combined with waiting for the ball to come to you and not moving your body is a result of this passive approach we've adopted against literally any side we come up against

Football can proper go fuck itself sometimes...
I assume there will be numerous players under the bus tonight... and the media can go back to salivating about their favourites!

Let's see how the media juggle the quandary of the 'Leicester Fairytale' compared to the 'Liverpool Juggernaut'

A tactical approach that invites constant pressure on the back four doesn't help though.
We weren't sitting uber deep.

Yes, they did look more threatening than us.

But we were dealing with what they posed us with until Aurier fucked us.

They were bang on their game today.

Have to give them credit.

Without Serge gutting us, we would have regrouped at halftime and had a chance to tweak things.

Let’s not have a meltdown, Jose has barely had a year as manager and what a tumultuous year (don’t act like he is managing under normal circumstances) he is still finding his way with a squad which has changed a lot, we are still fourth and points ahead of all but one of the ‘traditional top six’

We are forced to play Sissoko because Ndombele / Lo Celso are not able to play in the positions they were brought for.

Lo Celso looks like he could develop into a player in a season or 2, but Ndombele; we need to get rid. He won't improve.

Need to adjust our style of play against the "lesser" teams - today was garbage.

Time will tell if this week just ends up as a blip/bad run and we can recover some consistent form over the next 5/10 games.

Wolves next in the league is another tough fixture
