Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Only saw the 2nd half. Although a good comeback win that Spurs defending was terrible. And that playing from the back only caused us trouble, zero quality on the ball from the back four.

Spurs u21's win today puts us on 29 points from 18 matches and in 10th position - with 2 games to play - and are guaranteed to finish in the top 16 places which puts us into a 'play off' competition to 'win' the PL2 league.

If we finish in the top 12 clubs Spurs U21's qualify to play in International Cup next season - and whilst there are 5 clubs below us who could overtake us all of them have only one game left to play whereas Spurs have 2 games to play.

The 2 clubs above us, West Ham and Brighton are both on 30 points having played all their 20 games so a win in either of our last 2 games will take us to 8th position.

So the odds of Spurs finishing in top 12 positions entitling us to play in International Cup next season are good - one win out of 2 games does it !

Our last 2 u21 fixtures are 21st placed Wolves (H) and 29th placed Blackburn (A).

Tuesday 7 April @ 12.00 - WBA u18 v Spurs u18's

Last U18 squad
D Thompson, Thomas, Byrne, Tingey, Hardy, Tye Hall (c), Boast (Vidal-Philbert 75), Beggs (Feeney 46), Elliott-Parris (Hanson 81), Muslika (Moncur 46), Adewole.
Substitute (not used): Doran.

Probably a similar line up to last time, although Hardy played for u21's on Saturday. Upson has been out injured but might return and there are perhaps half a dozen players in Years 1 or 2 of Academy who could come in whilst Spurs u16's Sandiford and Olajide were not involved in Singapore 7's so might be available.

As it stands, our youngsters lead the table by one point from Chelsea, who closed the gap with a 2-0 home win over Crystal Palace on Saturday and still have a game in hand.

On Tuesday, as we take on the Baggies in the West Midlands in what will be our first competitive game at this level for two-and-a-half weeks (kick-off 12pm), the Blues will host Woolwich at the same time, offering the potential for either side to take the upper hand in what has thus far been a gripping battle for the chance to top the pile at the end of the season.
