There were some dozen players loaned out thus season,
Luca Gunter, Ashley Phillips, Alfie Dorrington, George Abbott, Alfie Devine, Jamie Donley, Dane Scarlett, Will Lankshear, Mikey Moore, Damola Ajayi, Yusuf Akhamrich, Oliver Irow, Tyrese Hall and Luka Vuskovic.

I'd guess many will be loaned out again next season, with up to say 4 players included in First Team squad and one or two moving to other clubs
Depending on who goes where in the summer, and obviously what DIVISION we're in come August, I expect the bolded players to either stay til Jan and then look at a loan, or even be in and around the 1st team squad.
I think one of Dorrington or Phillips will be kept to potentially replace Dragusin as 3rd/4th choice CB, depending on if one or both of VDV and Romero leave...

I'm intrigued with George Abbott and Tye Hall, as people have been raving about both, but ironically we're stacked in CM... unless Palhinha, Sarr and Bissouma all leave???

Harry Byrne and Luca Gunter seen in todays training pictures
1st team, I assume?

Dorrington is way off - he's struggled at both Aberdeen and Salford, Phillips seems to have everything (height, physically strong build, speed, reading of game and strong defensive abilities) other than PL experience although he's had 2 seasons in Championship which has to be character building plus a loanee being made Club
captain is almost unique. So subject to preseason should be a shoe in for 4th CB next season

Hall has been in L2, so not a contender at Spurs atm. Abbott unfortunately injury hit this season, so a loan in L1 or Championship next season.

In summary, I'd expect Vuskovic, Phillips, Devine and Lankshear to be closely watched in pre-season, and Moore too although decision might be another loan for more experience, Donley's had disappointing loans this season and stunning in 24/25 at Orient so tricky call.

Today's training was with first team - this is quite normal so don't read anything into it other than they are fit if required for u21's on Friday evening.

Would say Phillips seems one we could possibly get a loan to a newly promoted Coventry/Ipswich/Play Off Winner.

Think the gap to where we expect to be (mid table, hopefully pushing Europa spots) is too much. Devine similar, but further up the pitch might be an easier transition of attributes. Ditto Lankshear (maybe a promotion favourite in the Championship, unless we feel he has a shot at ousting a newly promoted starter).

Moore and Vuskovic should be loaned again IMO. Both to Hamburg would be great (as we could watch them both then most weeks).

You're mistaken, Ashley Phillips has got YEARS of Premier League experience:

See....? Bags of PL experience!!😉

Tottenham u21 v Brighton u21 @ 19.00 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Semi final of Knock Out stage to become PL2 winners.

Last u21 Squad
Bloedorn, Rowswell (c), Hardy (Logan 90+4), Cassanova, Arganese-McDermott, McFadden (Wilson 46), Black, Kyerematen (Furnell-Gill 90+4), Melia, Russell-Denny, T Thompson (Lehane 77).
Substitute (not used): Archer.

Players who might come in include Byfield, LWB and Byrne if now fit. The u18's are all but guaranteed to finish 2nd in the table, with their last game next Tuesday, so one or two others might play up. Otherwise expect a minor shake up of the squad and hope for a win to take Spurs to the finals which will be against one of the Manc's .

We paid in that area for Lankshear. Sheffield Utd under 21. Wilson has played quite a few games for Hearts and also made his debut for Scotland.

Lankshear £1m from Sheffield United (who acquired him from Woolwich a year previously as Lankshear refused a pro contrat there) .

At Sheffield U, Lankshear captained their u18 side and was record top scorer, albeit in the next tier down from PL U18 that Spurs play in.

Wilson has done a bit more in a SPL (which is more comparable to L1), but only looked 'ok' for Spurs u21's not 'wowing' them, which is why £2.5m seems OTT.

The Donley had a poor loan thing has somehow got legs. Oxford were up shit creek when he arrived but nearly got out of it. Jamie was a part of that upturn.

Real shame that Jamie went to shitty Stoke first, was never gonna work out for him there. Had he been at Oxford from day one, I reckon they don't get relegated and the lad finishes the season with at least 10-15 G/As.
