If Ange wouldn’t play Will and Dorrington against LITERAL plumbers and farmers today - I doubt Ange gives them game time in the EL - So I think we should get them out on loan as soon as possible for first team minutes in L1 or the Championship.
I’ve not seen enough of them to judge but I’m guessing based on today neither of them have any chance of making it. A real shame as from all id heard and the limited I have seen they both looked to have some promise.
With the possible exception of Elfsborg at home (and given our EL position I’d say unlikely) there isn’t a single other opportunity for them with us this season. A sad outcome.

Both are England youth internationals so both have a decent chance of making it to the Prem if they develop well. Ange clearly doesn't trust the academy though so sensible thing would be for them to develop elsewhere.

I think about 7 or 8 Spurs u18's (Adewole, Hall, Beggs, Byrne, plus Lehane and Moncur et al) have now appeared for Spurs u21's, more than in previous years at this stage of season.

Almost as it Spurs have woken up to the fact that we seem to have kept too many players in u21's who are not good enough, and there needs to be a major cull in the summer, and it makes sense to give game time to some of the u18's who will play u21's permanently next season - even if a number of them are currently in Academy Year 1 as Academy Year 2 (excepting of course Moore, Olusesi, Lehane, Logan and Archer) also need a prune.

And in turn that means Spurs u18's next season will probably have less than half a dozen from this years Academy Year 1 and heavily utilise next seasons Academy Year 1 and probably a few of next seasons u16's

Any relation to John Moncur?

Saturday 18 January @ 13.00 - Spurs u21 v Norwich u21

Last u21 Squad
Gunter, McKnight, Arganese-McDermott, King (Tye Hall 51), Linton (Moncur 86), Cassanova (c), Kyerematen (Baptiste 86), Tyrese Hall (Lehane 25), Akhamrich, O Irow, Ajayi.
Substitute (not used): Maguire.

On Monday evening, Spurs u18's are away to Grimsby u18's in the FA Youth Cup, a prestigious tournament, so I suspect most of the best u18 players are earmarked for that match rather than playing in u21's.
