Player Spurs Youth 24/25 (including younger players loaned out)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'm glad he's signed on but I think he's had a mediocre year. What do you think? Into the 21s? Or another year at 18s?

I'm hoping/expecting there will be a real clear out of current u21's and Year 2 academy, with maybe 12/13/14 left in next seasons u21's (plus of course another dozen in loan) , so that would mean something like 4 or 5 of current Year 1/u16's regularly playing for u21's next season...... and I'd guess Miracle could either get into that 4 or 5 'playing up' or not ..... as he has made about 4 u21 appearances already.

It just depends how much he wants to be in that group.

Thought he had one of his best games so far against West Ham at the weekend playing RW, easily had the beating of his man. Looks pretty quick but not really seen him use it enough. I could see him moving up next year but imagine he would move back to RB if he did.

I get the feeling we won't see Myrtaj in the U18s again until next year because they don't want to integrate him this late in to a potential title run-in. Ollie Salter is also a natural RW so 2 options there for next season.

There's some rumours the club might delay a big clear-out of the U21s until next summer and give out quite a few +1 deals to current U21s that expire this season so they can bring a strong group of U18s through together to play U21s the year after.

There are a number of our u21's who were born in 2004 who will be over 21's next year (Maguire, Ashcroft, McKnight, Linton, Cassanova, Williams and even 2002 born Robson - 7 players) with a number of others 2005 born so already 20 who won't make it here and really need to move on for their own sake.

The players who are 2004 born or older should really have left last summer.

A full/big clear out would probably mean about 15 or 16 players leaving , with an almost similar/slightly smaller number left in the u21 squad who would be supplemented by a handful of u18's next season.

Maybe the plan you heard of is a smaller clear out of most of the 2004 and older players or younger players who won't make it here, leaving, which would still give a decent sized squad of u21's ?

With only 2 u21 games left in the season, both played over next couple of weeks, perhaps we will hear of some contract extensions and others on trial somewhere before the retained and released lists get released (often in early June if a similar timetable to last couple of years is followed)

The u17 PL up final v Charlton is scheduled for Friday 11 April at 19.00, with that date being known for a couple of weeks now.

However there has been no change to the scheduling of u18's next match which is on Saturday 12 April away v WBA. I thought it might be moved to the Tuesday or Wednesday mid week following.

Seems odd as that's getting close (only 10 days away), so getting tight to re-schedule. Maybe we will play our best players in the u17 cup final, with who ever is left in the u18 match with some u16's playing up - the last u21 match of season is on Sunday 13 April so might not be too many 'overage' players available to drop down to help out the u18's if needed.

Here is a list of all Academy players with short contracts.
Apart from my very hopeful hope about Irow and possibly Black, I can't see any of these kids making it at THFC.
Abbott is progressing nicely. Obviously, we will have issues about Keeley's NHG status.

Broadly agree, probably circa 15 of them could/should leave in summer so as to find other clubs who would appreciate them :sadly a few might end in non League.

But it sounds like many of those 15 will be offered a one year extension rather than leaving.

I guess someone at Spurs might monitor the thread !

After confirming Spurs u17 PL Cup final details for Friday April 11th :

As a result of the scheduling of this match (the u17 PL Cup final), our Under-18 Premier League trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 12 April has been postponed, with a new date to be confirmed in due course.

and

In addition, our Under-21s’ home Premier League 2 fixture against Everton has been moved from Sunday 13 April to Monday 14 April, kick-off 7pm.

Our stadium is too large for size of crowd Spurs would get for u17 match - crowd noise would not be heard around the stadium and stadium would look only 20% full.

Stevenage (capacity 7,200) or Orient (9.271 and much closer to Spurs) make more sense from that point of view.

We're probably going to have 500 people at Stevenage for this. I'm sure the players would have loved to have had the opportunity to play at the lane regardless of the attendance.
