Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

4th and 5th goals scored on 47 mins and 51 mins. Great start to 2nd half which you'd expect has killed off any real chance of a comeback.

Stats currently showing 17 shots (12 on target) v 8 shots (2 on target) for home side - dominant performance

Hardy on at start of 2nd half for Bangura

Those of you who watch most regularly, who do you feel is most likely to get a crack with the first team next season? Donley? Devine? Lankshear? Abbott?

There’s a few that from the small sample I’ve seen will likely head back out for further loans but is there anyone those with more knowledge think have done enough that they could force their way in next season?

Devine would have a decent crack at taking the minutes available if Bissouma leaves. I think he has been earmarked as first team material ever since he came. Him and Gray would compete for those.

Abbott would have to step up from playing well in League Two, and Donley from playing very well in League One. Not impossible I guess but a big ask. They probably go out on better loans, Abbott to League One and Donley to the Championship. Another Championship team for Lankshear as well I guess.

I'd say this is bang on.

Agree with most of this.

I think Championship level clubs already looking at George Abbott who is not only a candidate for best young player in L2 but Notts County fans suggesting he's proved to be one of the best players (regardless of age) in L2 (ie whether that's top 20 or 30 players is not clear) and saying he is better than Jack Grealish who had a loan at Nots County at a similar age. In hindsight definitely overlooked last season despite captaining Spurs all conquering u21's in favour of creative players rather than the highly effective 'water carrier' that was Abbott.

Both Lankshear and Scarlett struggling for game time at different Championship clubs with those managers opting to play more experienced but not more effective forwards (eg when Scarlett returned to Spurs in January he had the best goals per minute of any of the 4 regular forwards, but the least playing time by a long way). I wonder if we need to look at different solutions which might be either dropping into L1 or perhaps better still a top overseas club in a less prestigious league whether Portugal, Belgium or Netherlands etc - possibly playing with more technical players where strikers get more chances (as Parrott found). If the Spurs manager commits to playing one of them, that's good, but no good unless there is a binding agreement to aim for say 1,500+ playing minutes a season.

Devine (he looked good last preseason before his Westerlo loan which can only have improved him) staying solves both a playing problem at CM plus as a List B player/u21 player he'd free up a space in the squad - especially uefa squads where List A allows us 17 overseas trained players and 4 HG players ie 21 players (or less than 2 per position) plus CT and List B. - or increase size of squad which helps if we get injuries.
