only upside from this game which they should have won on form to date, was giving 2 debuts and more minutes to 3 u16's in preparation for next season
Williams-Barnett my U18 Player of the Season. Probably go with Upson as U18 most improved player. Pretty happy with this group, Tynan Thompson, Byfield, Hardy, Archer, Byrne, Lehane and Adewole all had decent seasons. We won the U17 PL Cup again and took 4 points off Woolwich U18s

So 4 or 5 of this year's first year academy players had decent seasons which is pretty good going, plus of course Williams-Barnett and Byfield playing up a year. Time is on the side of the others to make their mark next season, especially with Dylan Thompson having a decent loan this season
It looks like next year's intake into Academy Year 1 will be :

Ezra Agyekum - LB
Cayon Hanson - CB
Tyler Tingey - CM
Cameron Thomas - CM
Luka Williams-Barnett - No 10/LW
Armend Muslika - AM/striker
Oliver Salter - winger
Dexter Oliver - striker/winger
All of them, except Hanson, have made their debuts at u18 level with LWB and Byfield obviously very experienced at this level, so our u18 squad next year should be pretty strong. Still time for one or two more to be recruited !
I'm also expecting Frankie Day (striker) and maybe a couple of others to become regular u18 squad members fairly early in the season, as next season u16's playing up a year, even with a couple possibly moving up to u21's early

William-Barnett stats really are extraordinary.
Do you have any records of minutes played - even if in u17 PL Cup where info is scarce you have to make 'informed estimates'. Be interesting to see minutes per goal - or do I mean goals per minute for LWB ?

Happy Birthday. Not sure Ollie Irow has signed his contract to stay at Spurs ... if not no time like the present !
He will deffo be a pro. Not sure if he has the desire to be a top pro.
minutes usually cut off at 90 so don't include extra time but
U18 PL 1617 minutes
FA Youth Cup 240 minutes
U18 PL Cup 67 minutes
U17 PL Cup 433 minutes (assumed 90 mins for 3 of these that I know he started but didn't have sub info)

I make that 2,357 mins which is averaging 76 minutes per goal or better than one goal per 90 minute match !
Not many players get those kind of stats.
