So, after our famous Europa League win, most Spurs fans are saying we aren't Spursy any more. And I get it, because Spursy meant to always be the bridesmaid but never the bride.
However, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I feel we should just accept we are Spurs and change the definition of what it means to be Spursy.
So Spursy now means getting it over the line when no one believes in you. That is the new Spursy.
I'll embrace it as a badge of honour, similar to some other word that caused controversy that outsiders use differently...

Spursy I think we just a function of the clubs situation. We are like the bottom child in the top set at school, in comparison to the rest of the league good but 5/6 out of the top 6. This has meant every final like the CL or a league title run in we always face a team stronger than us. Peak Klopp’s Liverpool or Conte’s Chelsea with Hazard and Kante, all a bit better than us. We have been in this state of nearly so long it’s made us look like losers. It hasn’t help that right near the top the club didn’t spend to push on like a car that hasn’t been given enough petrol.
I think the EL gets the monkey off our backs as Ange put it but it won’t change the fact for elite opposition which is the PL and CL we will need to find a way to even the playing field. That does included better scouting but it ultimately will also include paying the wages of top players.
