It staggers me that there could be any disagreement with this but we do seem to have a lot of people thinking Kane is typical of promoting youth so it should now be done en-masse rather than trying to buy quality as well.

Oh yeah I forgot, we spent badly with big fees so we should never spend again!

Its also mind boggling that people seem to think that some of those youngsters wont be loaned out so we dont need signings

The crusade you have launched against Poch would make Pope Urban the 2nd envious.
Give it a rest. Honestly besides a few questionable late substitutions and at times what seemed to be a lack of a plan B, Poch hasn't done much to earn your displeasure.

It's a Sammy straw man. Nobody is saying only rely on youth and nothing else.
Everyone agrees we need a new striker.
Nobody is against improving the squad, the point is that we already have Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Dembele and Townsend. If we are going to add to that then it has to be somebody who is bringing more to the table than Moses.

No, imo we need a RW more than a LW.

For the LW, we already have Chadli, Eriksen, Pritchard, who can all play there. But on the RW, we only have Lamela. Lennon and Townsend both might be gone. (And even besides then, Townsend is more effective on the LW). Plus on the LW, we have Rose who is much more attacking oriented than his opposite FB, and thus helps so much on that left side to provide width. Yedlin will probably be loaned out, Walker is a bit injury-prone, and Trippier will still have a question mark, just because he's new.

So yeah, RW is a must!

Thing is, the post you refer to wasn't arguing anything. It was just someone telling someone else to stop having an opinion.

There's been very few explainations by the people positive on Poch as to what they've seen to justify such loyalty. Mainly just posts telling people who question the management that they are wrong or should fuck off and support City.

If arguments were articulated as to what Poch has done well, that might help. Instead, we getting Sssshhh smilies.

Sammy says the players aren't good enough. Poch got us 5th with those players. Sammy says Poch is not good enough. It's just empty noise mate.

And nor have I accused anyone of saying that.

Ive said we cant rely on the likes of Pritchard, Onomah, Carroll and Alli to carry us and people have disagreed with that.

And the point you ignore is that I dont rate Lamela or Townsend and think they need replacing.
I also think Chadli needs a challenger, and that Poch wont suddenly using Dembele more.

Thats the 5th and last time I say it, so dismiss it, ignore it, do what you want with it.

Its not me who is trying to buy him. You do realise that dont you. You understand that if rumours are to be believd then its Pochettino who wants him. I simply understand the logic in the signing, as I think we are weak in the AM area and Id rather have Moses that Lamela, Townsend or having to over rely on untried kids in the PL.
