Perspective. People are losing their shit over this game. This was our first preseason friendly, while jet lagged (mind you kickoff was after 2am BST) against players in mid season form and fitness. They are used to beating the likes of Chelsea and Bayern Munich in this game.
Even so, I didn't think we looked that poor. Couple of huge saves on Kane early on and Davies a step offside from sending Kane another tap-in. Some of our regulars understandably looked a little sluggish but the kids looked great in midfield. And our transfer business is far from done.
I'm anxious for some signings too but just chill the fuck out about the improvement shown in this game.
We can talk about how useless it was to play in this game, but that's another discussion.

I think it'll be a smaller club but I'm pretty sure it'll be somewhere he can build on his current tally of 12 titles in 14 seasons. Not sure we're in the mix for that.
