Look, I admit that maybe I sometimes go over the top with my criticism of Levy and ENIC etc. Maybe I do sometimes exaggerate the greatness of our club. Maybe I do expect too much. Perhaps I should wind it in a bit. But by the same token there are so many on here who are guilty of the complete opposite. People who blindly refuse to acknowledge that we could do just a little bit more to strengthen the team. Refuse to accept that Levy's brinkmanship and over cautious approach in the market has on occasion been to the detriment of the team. Our fans, who pay at least the third highest ticket prices in Europe, deserve at least an occasional big name to get the old boy twitching. I don't think that's too much too ask for

Fair enough.

I understand where you're coming from, but I just don't believe we're as badly run as is said. Sometimes it comes across like Woolwich fans, who do nothing but moan and say "spend the money wenger", and are never happy unless they're splurging £50m on yet another forward to add to their list of 100.

I just don't like the idea of us become like that. We may be run with a beady eye on the purse, but it has been working for us (if slowly), and it makes us kind of like the good guys amongst teams who technically cheat their finances and gamble their futures.

Each to their own - I was born in 85 so didn't get used to the Glory Glory days, or Scholar's laid back attitude to finances.

But would they get a compensation thing? If so, perhaps they think they can get near that next year, if Ings was £8m+? I'm a bit sketchy on the details of it all though.
Must be that. & maybe they are worried about relegation & want to get a good season out of him. I would still sell though.

Isco on a loan deal apparently with option to buy later?: The deal could be done and that's what would explain Poch unloading players he doesn't want!

Berahino on TV...well that makes sense...my attention span is pretty tragic. Levy probably offer the same 15 he offered for Zaha just to piss Pulis/WBA off.

Feel like one more signing is coming though.

So Isco will be this years Rossi, or aguero, or rivaldo, or morientes. A player who levy knows we have zero chance of obtaining but lets this snipets come out to make it seem like every effort was made to bring a big signing in.

Our lack of depth is a worry. It does have a sense of Deja vu about it plus names flying about that excite but don't generally happen.

For me , if Poch feels as if he needs more then he should get them otherwise I worry that he'll get pissed off
