Wanyama > Bentaleb
N'koudou > Chadli
Winks > Mason
Looks nice on paper, but the reality is that Mason was ahead of Winks in our team, does one summer make Winks all of a sudden a better player than what Mason was for us? I'm sceptical. Not right now at least.

Also very questionable whether N'Koudou is at Chadli level. If you want to compare him it's probably more the like for like with N'jie anyway. Leaving us short in the Chadli replacement department.

Bentaleb and Wanyama, perhaps, althouh not sure they are the same type of players, Nabil is more offensive-minded.

Onomah is better than Winks currently anyway. I don't think Winks has gone above him in the pecking order just yet.

I rate Sissoko, maybe 20mil + Carroll max but I would do it.

He certainly wouldn´t play with the same lack of motivation as he did in Newcastle and we all saw what he can do when motivated.

He certainly isn't worth £30 million even in today's silly market. Max Meyer at £38 million has a far higher ceiling & for the extra £8 million it really shouldn't be a question. If Sissoko is with £30m, Meyer is easily worth £38m

Has anyone here other than the few living in the German speaking world actually seen Meyer play? Right now he's all potential and very little output.

There's been several German youth products in recent years who broke into their clubs at a very young age and got a lot of hype for it and then haven't taken the next step to be actual game changers. Right now Meyer is still waiting to take that next step up (he's also only 20, so it's natural to be in that spot).

I don't know if Meyer would make us better this season, and I'm not sure he's worth 45m euros or more in any case.

SISSOKO IN PARIS

Moussa Sissoko is currently in Paris waiting to see if Newcastle allow him to leave today. He has been given permission to leave the France squad.

Newcastle will not accept anything less than £30m. If no club is willing to pay £30m, Sissoko will stay and play in the Championship.
