I understand your view but it also means you don't rate the ability of the youth to fill that void of the fringe players sold. It is the philosophy Poch has been preaching since he has been here, we did it last year with Alli, Kane etc. and it continues again this year.
 
Guess time will tell if we are in a good place. For me the test will be Stoke, Eriksen has had 3 appalling games, enough for any 'big' team to rest, will Edwards or Onomah be starting or at least Son or Nkoudou.

Glad we cleared out players not good enough but still feel we are missing a top AM and proper Dembele cover.

Yeah I understand that, I'm not bashing Levy/the club, but all I'm saying is that when we do sell, we need to get replacements in, so no wonder people are now asking for just that. It's not about us wanting signings on deadline day just to please Jim White, it's about doing what's needed. And that it has taken so long is not the fault of the fans, so people shouldn't blame those fans for wanting signings in on deadline day.

I'm afraid not.

People were suggesting the people we sold when talking about ST and DM.

Mason and Chadli were on most peoples sell list so I'm not buying that they're now surprised by it and that we suddenly need to panic buy.

N'Koudou has replaced Chadli. Winks and Onomah will replace Mason.
 
We are not getting anyone other than Nkodou and maybe the goalie. The Nkodou deal hasnt been announced yet so we can announce it today so it looks like we were hard at work on deadline day to complete a deal when in actuallity it was done yesterday.

We do miss one or two players indeed. The fact that you want Eriksen benched and suggest those four players as replacements to start says it all really, lol. Only Son would I trust to start against Stoke of those four.
