Oh, I'm very excited too. I think we will click into gear and that Poch wants a lean and mean squad that are kept close together. When you look at the names I think it's fair to say that everyone on the list will get games and be part of the squad. The ones we sold weren't trusted. Blasting money on big transfers can go all way.

Rumblings from a couple journos that we're ahead of Everton for Sissoko now. Add that to Deschamps confirming he's in London and us announcing both Lopez and Nkoudou already.... maybe just maybe.

Odd one, this. Same age as McGee and only has one season's experience under his belt. Do we not fancy promoting our young keepers to the first team the same way we do with our outfielders? Id have rather given McGee games in the cups in the event of a problem with Vorm... presume Toni and Poch still have contacts at Espanyol and they want to run the rule over him for a year.

I am so confused with this move
I still think we look rather light in Central Midfield. Sissoko would do nicely. Personally, not confident in Carroll and Winks especially when you consider Dembele's injury history. Sissoko is about as close as you can get to like for like for Moose.
If we were in Europa I would probably be OK with Winks and Carroll but the schedule as it is one of those two (maybe both) would have to play in either Prem or CL and not sure Winks is ready and Carroll is not at that level.
