Sissoko doesn't happen without Poch buying in. I'm very anxious to see what we will get out of him, as well as N'koudou. I also think Son can take a Lamela sized leap this year in his sophomore campaign.

I'll choose to be optimistic, because this is our team for the next 4 months. Good teams, big clubs, overpay for players. I'm not saying Levy did a fantastic job, but if you had polled a random sampling of Spurs supporters at the beginning of the window and told them who we sold and bought, 99% would be thrilled.

Its not a perfect signing but its something we needed to do. We needed depth badly with so many players leaving and the threat of injury. Add the fact we have CL games to play and this was a need signing. He adds coverage to most of the midfield and gives us another option and makes the team more dynamic. He seems excited to be here and that should go a long way towards motivating him to be at his best. Perhaps he shouldnt need it but the harsh reality is these guys dont have the same mentality about this as we do and maybe its not even their faults because this is a job to them and their loyalties usually lie with themselves. Its not always optimal to have too many on your team but thankfully we dont. As for the AM midfielder I dont think its for lack of trying that we didnt bring anyone in but down more to not being able to find someone available who fit our wants and needs.

Sissoko is a good signing, not a 30mil worth signing, but thats what you get when you wait until the last day.

We have a good squad, lets hope GKN is the pacey winger we needed. COYS

Fair point. But Willian signed for a smaller club. They just paid him more money

Our squad in general now looks a lot stronger.
 
Ignoring the negativity about Sissoko because I think the environment Poch is building/has built at spurs will do him good. He'll soon fucking see that Poch won't accept less than 100%, and I hope he adapts to that.

He may, or may not, but I will give him a chance to prove himself, and not get on his case because of his rep at Newcastle.

That is all.

Overall pretty good window, would have liked a creative midfielder though so overall 7/10
