i'm just saying that salaries and transfer fees are completely different things. I will give you that on on the discussion of salaries we are on a completely separate level to Real (more comparable to Atletico, with our players earning more than most players there). But when it comes to the actual fees we are not that far off bar the few massive signings Real does from time to time.

I also would not want to be Tottenham's accountant. I leave that to Levy and his crew.

And you still have not given a clear definition of "big". Is it a 25 million signing? 30? 40? Or would you be happy with us bringing in 3 players for 10 million each and class that as a big window?
whatever people would say spending big in general is. That's fee's/wage bill combined.
If you are in the top few spenders in your league then you are a big spender in that league.

You can't really give 1 amount as a definition as its different for each league.
Premiership is obviously higher than the SPL.

You don't know any other teams anyway so its pointless. We could make it more clear & say just the premiership as that's the relevant one I guess.
I can only think of leicester which was a 1 off.

Fairly certain this could end up being a subject discussed until death so I am going to respectfully bow out in favor of discussing actual transfers instead.

Levy is apparently big in favor of performance bonuses. So while for example Kane is on 110k a week base we don't know what his actual paycheck ends up on at the end of the year. Same with the other players. I read on here that his supposed scoring bonus is 20K per goal for example

Yeah me too. Your clutching at straws now.
Our bonuses will suddenly makes us have 1 of the biggest wage/bonus bills in the league?
Even with that included, you know that the likes of chelsea, utd, city etc wage/bonus bill is still much higher.
& you are assuming our unknown bonuses must be higher than other teams too.
& even if they are, overall our wage/bonus bill will be a lot less than the teams I mentioned above.
I would think liverpool & Woolwich's is higher too.

Respect though for stopping the back & forth.
Enjoy your night.

I never said our bonus system would take us up to the levels of Chavs/United. That's you putting words in my mouth. I just pointed out that with the bonus system, the actual wages the players earn at Tottenham are not as small as some would make them seem. A lot of people seem to think that Tottenham players live like church mice.

That's good then. You agree they are bigger spenders. Phew

Unsure players prediction-

Trippier= not as good as KW but will do a good job & provide some lovely crosses. Obviously keep.

sissoko= can't see it working out for him here. Sell.

VJ= I think he will step up this season & I reckon he will get us at least 15 goals overall. Keep

Onomah= Doesn't do it for me. But I would try a loan to see what he can do. Loan

CCV= barely seen him but would do a loan as he won't get much game time. Loan

Wimmer= good then bad. Seems out of favour with poch. sell.

George= looked ok in flashes but doesn't seem to impress poch. Sell.

Vorm= won't get a better back up keeper. keep.

Kyle walker II= may as well give a go if we don't sign a RB. But if we do, I'd loan him. ?
