Yes, that's it. Conspiracy. Not that he's been abusing numerous posters in a multitude of threads. Conspiracy. Honestly, do you listen to yourself sometimes?
What's this conspiracy. Did I mention conspiracy. I don't think I did. Just thought it a bit unfair when lots of people are dishing out equal levels of abuse and only one gets binned. It's only my opinion. I think I'm allowed to have one. You seem following me around looking for arguments.

There approach was right ten odd years ago when there was only one big dick in town. Now that Citeh and Chel$ea have billionaires who can actually spend more than Yanited the same old philosophy will not work and from what i see they don't have a production line of youngsters coming through and even if they did that cunt of a manager they have wouldn't play them anyway.

Times have changed but they have a self entitled fan base (not unlike those Kraut loving cunts down the road from them) who think that if they just throw more money at the problem some of it will stick.

When you look at the money wasted since Fergie left it is quite astonishing.

I think Mourinho has done a good job. Resources and the insane and relative cost matter and make a difference but he instils a mentality of winning very quickly. It his signature trait as far as his management is concerned.

I am just more interested in us. If we have targets and are negotiating it is one thing. If we are playing the staring game that befits two duellists then it only works if the end result does not derail us ifrstly in the short term.

We finished a strong second but any hope that in itself would snare would be targets seems long gone.

Struggling big time to see how we move forward in terms of transfers.

Out of interest, how would one know if someone had them on ignore. I've just become curious to know who's got me on ignore, that's all. I'm sure there must be a few.

You wouldn't...

(Even if you asked the question; the question would be 'ignored' by those you are reaching out to.... LOL)

[EDIT] Although there's still the curious phenomena that Joe Clash Joe Clash mentions! LOL

So the argument is titles & you give me europa league cups!
& utd still did spend big, I have never said who ever spends the biggest wins the title.
it is ok to admit the truth. let it go sushi. you haven't come up with a team who doesn't spend big yet wins titles regularly.

we don't need to define if the best you can come up with is SAF's united. They still spent a big amount when you include wages/fee's. I think you said only city & chelsea would have spent more in total during that period.
In general that is still a big amount they spent. much bigger than most of the league bar 2 teams in fact.
I think that wage bill would have been classed as big. They were & still are on a whole other level to the likes of us.
But it is fair enough if you don't think that utd team spent big. I totally disagree on that.
You said that we have to spend big on transfers. I said that I a) don't think we do, and b) evidence is clear that big transfer spending has no relationship to success. The club that spends the most on tranfers isn't the team that wins every time.

As I said before, professional sports, being professional, means that the club that spends the most has often the best chance of success. But the best chance doesn't mean that they always win.

Now, I notice you're eager to move the goalposts from just being about transfers, to being about transfers and wages. If you're going to suddenly change your argument after being wrong, try to have some honesty about it.

You have lost perspective.

You seem to be saying there is no middle ground between what we do and being taken over by a billionaire who pumps hundreds of millions of pounds into a club, living beyond their actual means, being in debt by half a billion and stockpiling mercenaries with no respect for youth policy or coaching.

Even if we buy Ross Barkley, we are still abiding by our own policy and not that of City. We will still be self sufficient if we sign players as we will sign them within our structure. That's why I will still trust Poch.

It's got nothing to do with changing my stance. I haven't changed stance, nor do I see us spending 50M on Barkley or Lemar.

You are flapping around with this "spending big" nonsense but it has no bearing on anything.

A club has the right to spend as much of its own money as it wants. Chelsea have no right to spend billions of Abramovichs wealth on players. City have no right to spend some random Shielks wealth and play in a stadium donated by the tax payer that they now earn billions on through the naming rights of their owners personal company.

As you were.

I'm not sure how you have the audacity to draw parallels between us and them. You seem confused by it all.
Didn't read it sammy. I know you wouldn't have come up with a team who regularly wins titles & does not spend big.
& I know you have changed your mind lots to suit your argument, & you will change it even more if poch changes his.
You make up stuff like we want to buy a list of about 10 players & spend about 300m when not 1 person said that.
Throw in a straw man & you putting words in others mouths & that about sums up your posts.
Lets leave it there.

What's your problem exactly? Is there even a point to this reply?

At this point I'm not sure whether to be flattered or worried at the weird amount of attention ur paying my last couple of posts.

I think Levy is great but our transfer behaviour is a bit of a parody. No other team consistently drags out transfers like we do. I'm not saying he's necessarily wrong in doing it but it's frustrating never the less.
superiority complex comes out of him every day.

Sorry, but you just came off as contradictory.... "I'm not moaning, but..."-type statement.

Not prior to my original response, you didn't.

Again, your hyperbole casts you as the OTT/hysterical one.

I didn't suggest you were in a shouting rage, I just implied that you could do with chilling out if the Marez headline "frustrated" you to the extent that you'd bother posting the comments you did about it.

....Yet "frustrated" and somewhat embarrassed by our creeping "parody" status?

....Enough to make hasty posts, that to your own admission are 'out of character' and lacking thought?

This is a very boring null debate, given you've already conceeded you 'spoke without thinking'.

I've not conceded anything but if it makes u feel better about being muggy then believe what u want.
