Slightly off topic, but I really hope Levy writes a tell-all book on his time as Spurs Chairman when he leaves the post.

We all want to see some transfer business this summer, and we all check the net several times a day in the hope of hearing we have singed a player. What if here is something else going on? What if the club is effectively crippled by some unexpected costs in the new stadium construction, and we have to bring in an extra 75mil this summer before we even think about signing someone? That is, of course, something we hear about until we get Levy's book, if ever we do

I doubt he will - really doesn't seem to court publicity at all.

Imagine you'll be able to hear details of a few years of Levy's tenure at some point though..... :harrylol: :sherwoodlol:

Ahab Ahab GP SPURS Why don't the pair of you sprauncy right wing cunts have the guts to challenge what I said, rather than disagree with a fact? Fucking wankers.
Flipping heck! You're only happy when you're getting up votes. You shallow cunt!
I just think our squad is a little bit ....shallow.

I know it's slightly off topic but here's a recipe for lemon meringue pie

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 lemons, juiced and zested
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
  • 4 egg whites
  • 6 tablespoons white sugar

I disagreed with your inference that we don't need to sign any new players.
I reserve the right to disagree with anything you say.

My implication, your inference. It's like talking to a cat. Look in a dictionary.

I am calm, I'm not cautious or concerned. I enjoy watching the best Spurs side I've ever seen. You sir, can worry as much as you want, but just don't expect me to understand you.

Even if you understood words, how is my post implying we shouldn't sign players?

Hrm, Toljan? I'd actually be surprised if he left Germany - he's been tabbed as a rising star for a while (Germany is also oddly very thin at the fullback positions) but he hasn't quite made his mark on senior football yet and I figured he'd stay in Germany to try and nail down a weekly starting role and try to break into the national team.

He fits the mold of Kyle Walker for sure, he's a fucking unit and fucking rapid ... and prone to brain cramps defensively from time to time.

Said this already.

Our togetherness is a lot more important than our rivals who are buying new players. City have practically bought a new defence/goalkeeper who are all going to have to bed in with a manager in charge who couldn't coach the ones he even had previously.

Mate, he is not worth it. You will be arguing with him for hours as he constantly moves the goalposts. For whatever reason, he is constantly using a strawman. I am beginning to think it is pathological at this point.

Edit: people lap it up because it sounds good. Fghting the enemy sort of thing and, indeed, you will be accepted by the clique at the top.
Yeah...that's what I should have posted instead of my novel.

Yeah that's why I can't see us finishing outside the top 4 as we are a solid, together & consistent team.
But equally I think we would need a bit more to take us to the next level.
The premiership is very unpredictable so don't know how the big boys will fare or who won't make top 4.
