The premiership is very unpredictable so don't know how the big boys will fare or who won't make top 4.
You are joking? You WANT TO SPEND BIG! Did you mean on just one player? Your argument is so vague scott. You twist it this way and then that - you are obviously talking about buying 5-6 players - don't insult my intelligence.Show me where I said we should spend big & where I said change 5 or 6 players?
Yeah that's why I can't see us finishing outside the top 4 as we are a solid, together & consistent team.
But equally I think we would need a bit more to take us to the next level.

No, I meant actual finishing spot not they might win the title or finish 3rd.Is it?
I reckon most people could predict 17 or 18 of the PL placings if allowed a 2-3 place spread.
I don't know how good that new striker is so can't really comment.I think Woolwich are no where near top four level - as proven last season. Haven't improved on their defence, don't sort of know what system they're going for and have signed France's fourth choice striker to try and replace France's first choice striker.
I'd say that leaves five teams for the top four - Liverpool are STILL an unknown quantity. They showed they struggle against lower teams and we won't know until the season starts whether that's an improvement. City and United are spending an absolute fortune and Chelsea will now have European football to contend with.
The only negative impact 2017/2018 could have is the fact we're at Wembley and our record there isn't great and NOT the lack of signings.
How'd it turn out?I know it's slightly off topic but here's a recipe for lemon meringue pie
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 lemons, juiced and zested
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
- 4 egg whites
- 6 tablespoons white sugar
Thanks for your concern mate. Which post of mine triggered this bolt from the blue then?Tottenham Massive I genuinely feel sorry for you. Supporting Tottenham must be such a chore for you.
Yes no posts as expected. You are joking? You WANT TO SPEND BIG! Did you mean on just one player? Your argument is so vague scott. You twist it this way and then that - you are obviously talking about buying 5-6 players - don't insult my intelligence.
Ok - what do you mean then?
Ok night.scott

Dilfy You guys are hilarious - Scott has bored the fucking pants off everyone with his 'spend big' argument. It was almost like he'd found a pet. Yeah, yeah, I know, just hit the disagree button in your impotent rage.
I don't know how good that new striker is so can't really comment.
Sanchez looks like staying now which will be annoying but then he would go for free the following season which will be great news.
They still seem a bit of a soft touch to me.
Yes no posts as expected.
I said all along you need to spend big to win titles. It was a debate about whether you could achieve this without spending big.
As for us I never said go mad & sign 5 or 6 players or spend 100m+.
Here's what I actually posted for us.
Order of priority.
1) toby new contract
2) RB
3) An explosive attacking player
4) Another young player for the future
But by all means act like sammystrawman & pretend I said 300m, 6 players, lionel messi, lionel richie.....
It feels like Woolwich are kind of making it up as they go along now. This is the trap I feel Woolwich have fallen into. Chelsea, City, Woolwich, Liverpool and now Man United are all the same. They'll buy a cup or two (except lolerpool), maybe a league, then the expensive players will fade away and they drop like a lead balloon. Rinse, repeat.
What's the lifespan of one of those clubs these days? 3-4 seasons maybe, then they plop out of the CL places, their expensive lot walk away for nothing, rinse repeat...
I've lost count of how many players Woolwich have lost over the years. Not like they're a selling club, as their best walk away for free..
I don't mind. Not bothered if you think I think we should spend 300m. If it makes you happy then go ahead.Scott, don't fuck about. Do you seriously want me to find evidence of you saying we should 'spend big'? It's the most enthused I've ever seen you. You've been been jumping about like a chimp on nandrolone with your brilliant argument, and I wouldn't want to deprive you of your moment in the sun.
It feels like Woolwich are kind of making it up as they go along now.
No real clear plan or structure any more.
Now they find themselves in the europa with 2 star players contracts running down & fans questioning the manager & owners. Who knows where they go from here?
It doesn't make me happy, and what's Netflix got to do with anything? I'll be honest scott, I'm usually pretty happy until I log on here. And there you go - I've solved my own problem thanks to you. Cheers scotty - enjoy next season.I don't mind. Not bothered if you think I think we should spend 300m. If it makes you happy then go ahead.
Or you could stick netflix on & try out a new series.
