Me and John Thomas agree on less than 50% of issues.

He's still a 100% Spurs though.

Me and Salmon don't always agree, same with Kingdawson and some others.

All Spurs through and through though.

You have become very very obvious as a troll. Spurs you ain't. You gave up on the season in December and was going to take a break till next year....jog on and take your "support" with you.

You're sussed

This thread is starting to remind me of the scene with the junkies from Layer Cake.

You'll all be Bessie mates again when the money comes out

I think City are the only team you can say that has improved, Bernado silva is a proven top top level player and walker and mendy should be improvements on sagna and clichey, but saying that as soon as kompany gets injured theyre fucked with otamendi and stones as their centre backs. Personally I think utd and Chelsea have downgraded on strickers and Im not too worried about woolwich or the scousers. Although I think we should be looking for 2 maybe 3 signings to compete on all fronts, we are still one of the best sides in the league and definitely have enough to go for the title again this season.

It doesn't guarantee it, no but the circumstances are completely different

You're shitting yourself because someone spent a lot of money.

The same people who paid £47 mil for John Stones.
The same people who paid £15mil for Clownio Bravo.
The same people who paid £53mil for Sterling.
The same people who paid £38mil for Otamendi.
The same people who paid £27mil for Bony.
The same people who paid £26mil for Mangala.

Yeah, their track recording for buying quality players is amazing, isn't it? Utterly terrifying.

How much have City spent so far? £1.3 Billion for, 2 titles, is it? Wow.

City are shit at scouting, have a clown manager and have no team mentality at all. I'm not worried because a rich Arab is spending cash.

City have to improve an awful lot to catch us too. We were leagues ahead of them last season. Their defence isn't sorted at all. Danilo isn't great, Walker may not work in their system and as you say, the sicknote that is Kompany goes down and you can't trust Stones and Otamendi.

Oh dear

By the way, how much less than City is a big enough amount for us to spend?

Three days and counting....
Ah..now that's a very paradoxical question. Impossible to answer really. It's not about how much a club spends, it's about being able to identify players, getting them into the squad, and hitting the ground running. I think most of us would agree, yes, even the two of us, that we don't really have enough depth in the squad to make a sustained title challenge while also making an impression on the champions league. So what bothers me, and many others outside this forum, is that so far we haven't actually signed anyone. Although we have actually raked in around 80million in sales.
Now we all know that in the past we have dropped vital points at the start of the season. Points that have proved to cost us dear in the end, so it would have been nice to bring a few players in so this time we have a squad ready to hit the ground running. We are a big club. A very wealthy club too. So I just think we should be able to take care of business in a way that is befitting of our status. We should be able, where necessary, to pay the fee to close in on the player we need. I just think we could do more. How much less than City should we spend ? I'm sorry, but I can't answer that question for you

think it's too early to say if teams have improved, surely it will only become apparent at the end of the season? We haven't significantly weakened, sure Walker has gone but that's not to say a back-up isn't in the pipeline. We spanked a ton on the magnificent seven... didn't work out well.

I like to see a few rumours, suggestions and general banter on here. The constant bickering and endless loop becomes tiring, very quickly. :vdvhmm:
