No one wants to come here to be a back up. We have a starting XI that is pretty hard to upgrade outside of RB (even then, not easy to upgrade). Combine that with our wage structure and it's difficult to make new impact signings. With that said, I'd like to see a new RB, CB and attacking mid before the deadline. Pereira, Foyth, Barkley seems like a realistic window and I think it'd be sufficient. We could probably get all 3 with the money from Walker and Wimmer (assuming he's sold).

Trippier - Wanyama - Dembele - Rose
Eriksen - Dele
Kane

The clear starting XI plus a very deep pool of players as bench options and cup rotations.

Davies, Pereira, Foyth, Winks, Sissoko, Barkley, Lamela, Son, GKN, Janssen

Ha ha. If there's one thing I am is someone who just states their view, irrespective of who I agree or disagree with. If someone says something I agree with that's all that matters, much to the chagrin of the likes of Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive , who see grudges and obsessions everywhere!!!! ;)

John is, to me, a perpetual moaner, but that doesn't mean that in the past I haven't agreed with him on things. He's not like Gibbs, who is so in love with his own self determined superior knowledge of Spurs that he's prepared to talk to a brick wall as long as he can convince himself that he knows better than Bill Nick, Poch and Levy combined. Alas, Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive has taken my disagreement with him in this thread and decided I have some sort of obsessive desire to disagree with him and follow him around. There's only one person here who acts like that, and it ain't me! It's just a football forum...

Bale is the past....he won't reach the legendary heights he could have. He chose the wrong club.

I'm glad he went abroad, but from his pov, joining Utd under SAF would have elevated him to real world class status.

I wouldn't care if he went to Utd now. He'd spend most of his time tracking back and defending 1-1 score lines in the big games.
Unlike Kane, he will be truley found out in the PL now
