We play a possession based game where we play out from the back so I assume poch would like defenders that are comfortable on the ball and able to pass to a team mate - best look I’ve had at Ake was the away game towards the end of the season and his passing was atrocious- awb is a quality atheletic defender but passing and crossing is not his strongest card hence I’d be surprised if either of them played for us next season but I have been badly wrong before and no doubt I will again !
I've watched Bruno Fernandes last two games for Portugal, but have no idea really what he is? He didn't seem to have a definitive remit, seemed to float somewhere between CM and AM, did some OK things, nothing spunktacular, nothing terrible, but didn't really see anything that tickled me greatly. But hard to gauge from two international games.

He seems a nice enough player, tidy and clean with the ball and don't mind having a dig when nothing else is on which I like but I highly doubt that if our scouting department did a solid job they couldn't find someone with just as much for a quarter or a third of the cost.
£65m-£70m the reports reckon? I ain't too sure Levy will be sanctioning anything near that for him anytime soon. Decent player but I didn't fall in love with him like you should someone of that kind of fee. I'd rather we invested that kind of money in a few shit hot youngsters if it is floating about enough to spend it on someone.
Ndombele and Lo Celso I'm pro signing, this guy didn't float my boat enough even though I can see he has skills. Reluctantly I'll pass thanks, even though my experience of watching him is limited to just the two games and my judgement might be way off. Not for me as it stands
Toby was gone a year and a half ago mate. Such a shame as he really is top class but we've more than got our monies worth out of him and if he's dicked the club around and the club feels it's best, whatever the reasons may be, I say all the best and thanks for the memories.
A top player but the rumours about his dad and missus getting involved weren't ideal. It's time for Davinson & Juan to genuinely step up now, both have had two years and if they haven't adjusted yet it won't be great for their futures with us. I'm sure they will be fine but Toby leaving is a big hole we'll struggle to fill.
What would Villa demand for McGinn this summer?Unfortunately, statsbomb put Bruno Fernandes' template as midfielder as opposed to attacking midfield/winger so comparisons with Eriksen for example wouldn't be under the same template.

Deli has all the talent in the world. So he didn't have his best season. So bollocks...sell him? This is someone you hold on to. And what's more, he's loyal to his team

That does tend to be the case.
Lo Celso seems like he could be a lot better than Eriksen- has much, much better dribbling skills that can actually beat a man (unlike Eriksen). He looks to be faster than Eriksen by a significant amount too.
I just worry that he might not be effective out wide, though based on the above it seems like he'd at least better than Eriksen out wide. I want us to play Dele CAM as he is vital to our CL registration issues.

Even if we have to shell out 25-30m gbp for him, it'd still be worth it as it's situation we've traditionally had no shot of winning whatsoever. I know he is not the finished product as a left winger, but he has plenty of time to develop his skills. He could anchor our LW for 10 or more years if handled correctly.

Probably. From the standpoint of our CL registration issues it's vitally important to keep him.
Aurier has been so bad I can't see what we would stand to lose by promoting KWP to 2nd string RB...
