We lost thirteen PL games last season. Unless we want to see the same old, same old again from our defence, then changes are needed at the back, whatever love in some of us have with any of the current options.

3 of that back 4 were first choice when we finished comfortably 3rd two seasons ago so that would hardly be a disaster.

Anyway Aurier will be thrown in the bin so I wouldn’t worry. We will have some new defenders next season.

You need to get a grip of yourself, and read your own post, it got the reaction that offends you so much, because of your inability to articulate your point, rather than my comprehension issues. If you had spent as long proof reading as you are in trying to make this all my fault, then maybe we wouldn't be having this exchange.
Internet arguments are relatively easy to judge the progression of, if one party starts laying into the intelligence of the other or smashing out expletive laden personal insults, then that's the one who is losing.
I'm always civil to people that deserve it. You insulting me on a personal level - because you expressed an opinion poorly and left it open to misinterpretation has become everyone's fault but your own.
Not only that but you are now claiming that your zen like statement was clear to anyone with the blessed good luck to move in your exalted circles. Having said that, if your stock answer to being made fun of is to label that person a moron - and then think you put that person in their place, then I'm happy I don't.

as I said before, we shall spend the summer sorting our defence out as priority. Our attack creates chances against even Man C or Liverpool. It is our defence doesn't stand a chance

Jesus....Americans. They play the game, badly, for a few years and all of a sudden they're experts. You might learn a thing or 2 from Totti. We've been playing this game for hundreds of years before this armpit was even discovered.
 
Reckon Fernandes to United. He’s said he’s announcing his future in the next couple of days, and is going to a club with a great history.

Honestly makes zero difference where we sit.

Buying players has become anathema to the club and whilst we hear talk of bids, I think some of that is pure bunkum.

Will be a long summer again, full or with dollops of hope, only to see the better players disappear over the horizon and for a paddock full of excuses to be trotted out as to why one of the richest clubs in the world can't find the players it needs.

I even doubt at times that there is a player wishlist, such is the uncertainty around such decisions.

A really odd way to show that we are a progressive club.
