Yup. A few that shouted at the club to just spend the money. Got relegated with Fulham and now he's being linked with a loan to another struggling Premier League team.
Sometimes not spending is the best way, some however lack the patience for this though. Fulham spent their money awfully last season, if it wasn't for a careless yet rich owner they really would be in the shit.
Seri and Anguissaa cost them how much? Maybe they needed a year to adapt but ultimately Fulham rolled the dice and the European teams saw them coming with their Monopoly money level spending.

I want him! His wiki page states that he is 5' 10'' 0r 178 cm. He looks taller than that. He's skinny but deceptively strong regardless. I think he could play in several different positions, even as a striker.
He can be a decent playmaker as well, his free kicks are mustard so Eriksen leaving would not be agreat loss to us.
I could not see what the fuss was about with Seri.

I think that you're right. But say you were United (or whoever) and you want to sign him and screw us at the same time. You're really best off to trigger that release right at the deadline so that we can't bring in a replacement. I realise that might mean that someone else steps in ahead, and that's a risk for sure, but I would imagine they keep apprised of the situation as the window drags on?
