Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Doesn't care about money. Just wants to play. Which is why he's stayed at Ajax the last few years.

PSG is the ultimate "money" move.

Actually, I dont think it is.

France is a good development league. He'll win some cups. Compete in the champs league. Then in 3 years move to madrid.

PSG is just a rich ajax in a slightly bigger league. Makes more sense than joning Man U and ending up on the scrap heap.

If we didn’t have to lay out 60+m for a top class CH but we were guaranteed to spend that money elsewhere making sure we got the best possible player we could physically get for CM and elsewhere, who would keep Toby and let him walk for free next summer if he wants, and then buy that CH next season?

I’m in!!

Im sure you've explained before... but who is your source? (i'm assuming this information was passed directly to you)

I have a relative who works in the clubs accounts department, he's actually quite high up, he hears rumour and gossip around the office and also sits in on quite a few meetings. He was part of the stadium build steering committee for example. We speak fairly regularly and he tells me what he can ... all of this is caveated as just high level gossip ... he's been wrong on transfers stuff as often as he's right ... what he does have is very good info on finance, not that he will share much of that. The one thing he has said over and over is that Poch has always had access to a huge amount of money, he just hasn't been able to get the players he wanted. Let's hope that all changes this summer.

Something that may interest you - the stadium is/will generate income far in excess of even the most optimistic budget forecast ... Spurs are making more money on just about everything from ordinary ticket sales, to F&B, corporate, conference hire, advertising, sponsorship, etc. The accounts over the next couple of years will be mind blowing .... the idea was to close the gap on our rivals, think you will find we've done that and more ....

They have already signed a player and it's more than rumours, they have already put a bid in for Wan Bissaka that has been rejected but you can bet they will make another and sign him.

Meanwhile Levy is putting in 31M bids for Celso who has an £88M release clause.

In other words, he has ZERO intention of buying him.

I don't know how people aren't wise to Levy and ENIC yet after all these years and all these windows, it will end the same way yet again, only this time it will be the best manager we have ever had since Nic leaving us.
Levy is our worst enemy

If we can keep Eriksen and then bring in say NDombele and Lozano we would be in a very good state.

Lloris
Trippier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Rose
Winks
NDombele - Eriksen
Lozano - Kane - Son

Gazzaniga
Aurier - Sanchez - Foyth - Davies
Dier
Dele - Sissoko
Lucas - Son - Lozano
Two strong teams. Still think right back is an area that needs attention and maybe another midfielder. Plus you could potentially add Sessengon in there.
But you've still got Tripps and Sanchez in there which, means we have a back 2

Spurs Owner Joe Lewis thought to be preparing £55million offer to add another highly rated Picasso to fill gap in art collection.

Can anyone explain the relationship between Lewis and Levy to me?
