Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

True.

I mean that is exactly what I said.
No, but you took an argument to an absurd conclusion (relegation), one that no one has drawn, to make your point.

So I did the same to highlight the error in your discourse. That's what I meant by reductio al absurdum, it's a logical fallacy also known as an "appeal to extremes". Buying a single lottery ticket means you will end up blowing your brains out, crippled by a six-figure gambling debt and so on

For those not in the loop, "Serious relegation fears" was the name of a thread on Glory Glory at the start of the season when a poster named Gutter Boy predicted the squad we had with Redknapp at the helm was destined to finish 18th.

This was right before the 2009/10 season.

This rumor has been floating around. Honestly, it kinda makes sense as Son is younger, cheaper, arguably better already, and probably has room to improve. Eriksen may have already hit his peak.

Everyone has a price. Do you think Spurs would sell? For how much? And would Lucas be able to fill his shoes?

I actually doubt we will make a first team signing before the 1st of July, and I don't mind that to be honest as long as when the signing finally does come it's one of our main targets (N'dombele, LoCelso etc.)

Kinda transfer related, Steve Hitchin who replaced Paul Mitchell as our "chief scout" when Paul fell out with DL and Poch, recently turned down the job as DoF at Marseilles ... that's old news ... but what has come out is that one of the reasons he stayed is because he loves working as a triumvirate with DL and Poch on new signings ... does that mean he knows something we don't? ... ergo that Poch is going nowhere ... maybe that's me wanting 2+2 to equal 5 so make of it what you will ....
