I still remember summer 2015 when Saints refused to sell Schneiderlin to us because we were their direct rivals?

I think as he ages his sweeper keeper skills will get worse. He has never been good with his feet and I think its important our next keeper is a baller. The modern game at elite level requires it.

Definitely. Think he picked up towards the end of the season (Liverpool aside) and made some huge contributions.

I actually like Gazza. Give him all the cup games and let’s make a decision at the end of next season.
 
The amount of money it would take to actually upgrade Hugo is spent much more wisely on the gaping holes in the midfield.

Hugo is still good enough to win trophies, the midfield is not.

It's been ongoing for quite a while now. I respect what Hugo has given us over the years, but tbh I wouldn't mind replacing him with Strakosha. I am getting a bit anoyed about Hugo's inability to kick a ball.

How's Butland doing? I watched him a couple of times just after they started life in the Championship, and he didn't look anywhere near as good as he used to be.
