In today’s climate, especially given the fact he has like 10 years on walker, who went for 50 a couple years back. I think 50 is about right for a club that are in no rush to sell.

Especially because you automatically add 20% on to any fee Man Utd are paying.

& from palace's POV why sell for 40m or less? What will that get them? He's a good young defender with lots of potential.

Reminder that the current insane 'fuck off money' premium on English Premier League players is why it's key we get guys like the Sessegnon brothers and Jack Clarke in.

Aside from club grown players, it's getting crazy trying to find affordable homegrown PL talent.
