Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

What are people's order of preference regarding our CM targets btw? For me...

1) N'dombele
2) Lo Celso
3) Tielemans
4) Van der Beek
5) Bruno Fernandes

I don't think it's as simple as that, they kind of all have different qualities.

N'Dombele for power and drive is number one priority, however Van De Beek would solve that ae old problem we have where we get 30 yards out from goal, grind to a halt and slowly go sideways before going backwards.

Get those two and Lo Celso if Eriksen leaves. If Eriksen stays, put the money into Lozano.

If we get Fernandes then Eriksen is probably gone. Him asking for a transfer 10 days before the final and then his comments about leaving after the final likely decreased Poch's opinion of him. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's sold regardless.

I agree with you but am not sure Levy sees it that way, the stadium to both him and ENIC is about more than football, it's an entertainment venue, hence why he has arranged numerous events outside of football to take place already (and I imagine more will be coming in the future) so financially it will make money regardless, he also knows that for the first few seasons alone, people will fill the place just so they can see it and witness it all.

I do agree with you though and I think if Levy doesn't take advantage it will backfire on both him and ENIC.
the stadium hire business does not make up for drop of revenue from bad performance: I don't know how much it would be to hire the pitch for sports and concerts, but from the looks of it the PHEX event was in the South Stand for something like £10k per day.
Assuming £5m-£10m in stadium income, compared to the risk of dropping 4 places by neglecting the squad:

£9m less in PL prize money.
Tens of millions less from not being in CL.
Probably lower performance payments from the sponsors.
Lower returns from the corporate box holders.

if Eriksen is sold then:

1. Ndombele. (Capable of allowing us to play 4231, 433, 41212 or 352 comfortably)
2. Lo Celso. (Same as above, only want him if we sign Ndombele or Diawara though)
3. Diawara. (Not a pure CM but important to allow us to attack without a lack of cover)
4. Fernandes. (Can play CM, CAM or out wide if needed)
5. Tielemans. (Weakest in terms of what he can do, but Prem experience)
