At this point would people prefer Lo Celso or Bruno Fernandes?

Lo Celso has the argentine thing going for him and I think if Poch has put him first then we should do everything we can to get him.

However if it was up for me I would want Bruno, admittedly I have only watched high lights of both of them but I like the look of him more.

Kind of hoping this Wolf fella is correct. If he is Ndombele is done. Guess we'll know in 24 hours (that Wolf dude is a bullshitter probably)

Agreed mate. If we ship Llorente off and choose to bring in an AM o fill his squad place, I would definitely keep Lamela on as he seems content to be a squad player, even when he is fit! :pochshock:

Dele, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Lucas, Lamela, Son & Kane for me. Give me that over a backup striker so we can utilise Lucas and Sonny as and when every day of the week as it will keep all of them sweet and also give the boy Parrott a genuine path into the first team should he progress how we hope he will.

I'd say we've carried Lamela long enough. Despite his age we've already seen the best of him. Swop in for domestic talent (Clarke and Sessegnon) with a fair amount of potential. We don't wanna see them at Bournemouth and cost us £60m next summer.

Dele, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Kane, Lucas, Lamela, Son would be fine with me with Parrott and Clarke as young cover.

Forwards: Kane plus Son or Lucas as cover and Parrott for League Cup games maybe.

Creative: Lamela, Eriksen, Lo Celso.

Hybrid: Dele.

Wingers/wide attackers: Son or Lucas if Kane is up top plus that young Clarke guy we are after for say League Cup games.

But you said "That's one positive from the final then" (in ref to RM not being interested).
Yes because I believe that he will be committed to the cause.
That's not commitment... FAR from it.

You mind your missus 'keeping her options open' too?

Like your previous comment; your faith is baseless.

"If nothing pops up that is more exciting, then why not stay in Tottenham? "

Not even saying he WOULD stay in that scenario....

"If I then sign a new contract, it depends on the conditions."

...And re-signing is even less likely.
It's not baseless, it's based on him being a committed spurs player for 6 years, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think he's done enough to earn fans trust, he's earned mine anyway. How do you know it's less likely when you don't know what those conditions are? It could be the conditions are that Poch stays and he has a role at the club once his playing career is finished.

Why not stay in Tottenham his mind is obviously open to staying if nothing better comes up.

Of the 2, Lo Celso. Simply because of the reason that I haven't seen anything what this Bruno lad can do.:kanehand:

He hasn't looked overtly committed this year for starters.... Particularly not when he's content to stir the post on the eve of the biggest single game of our and his history.

His form also fell off a cliff last time it was contract time too.

Sorry, I just sense someone happy to be walked over cos the player is 'worth it'.

IF RM don't call
Then MAYBE I'll stay
BUT only IF....
IF not, I'll walk for free next summer and coin it in.

Fuck that... No-one's bigger than the shirt.

Mate I understand that you have respect for Eriksen, I think we all do to a certain degree, especially what he’s done for us on the field.

But his quotes aren’t that of someone that hopes to commit to us, you can’t ignore what’s staring you in the face. He does NOT want to be here. Anyone who does not want to be here should be moved on as signing for us is just a second option to him. There is no way he can be fully happy and play at his best if he stays regardless of what contract he signs.

He has said from his first ever season here when asked about being at spurs for a long time:

“everybody has a plan in there head of where they want to get to, and I have mine.”

We are a stepping stone to him. Get rid, thanks for your service Christian, I don’t begrudge you anything, but bye.

We need players that buy in to the new project.

Chris has always been very open about his ''plan''.
