Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Really enjoyed re-reading old notes last night, personally just wanted to give Todd a little dig as I have been observing him "giving it large" to Airfixx (who likes quite a few of my posts, so naturally I have an affinity to!).

Psychology, and the basis of GC MAF :levywhoa: in the Transfer Thread (Actually my thinking about it started with a Stress Management Training course a few years ago, where the lecturer asked us "Why does the Zebra not get Ulcers?", back then the room gasped when I raised my hand and said "the Zebra must not be susceptible to H.pylori". Anyway...

(at 10:01am on a Saturday morning, with my wife feeding my daughters a Budwig blend of Flax and Kefir Quark - Fats and Bacteria, things are feeling pretty cool)
My brother even puts flax oil into the horses' feed...he's a big believer of all that stuff...

- How many teams challenged for the title in the EPL last season?
- You think the top 6 will all be in the title mix next season?

Regardless, stop being fake-news about it... I listed a number of clubs... Not just AM...... I stand by my point about their stature regardless and the broader point that my comments were part of.
You KNOW what these clubs budgets and targets are this summer (and next)?

I don't (and you don't either!).

Ok lets look at the other clubs you listed, Juventus, their record fee is 100 million for Ronaldo, second highest fee is Higuain at 81 million, their highest fee for someone from the prem is 18 million. Vieira and Cuadrado. Logic tells me they won't pay 80 million for someone who isn't world class with a year left on their contract.

Munich, their record transfer is Lucas Hernandez, that was done in March this year and he'll join up with them on July 1st. Their second highest record siging is Tolisso at 37.35m, so up until this year they never paid 40 million for a player, Logic tells me etc..

Barca they overpaid for Coutinho, rumour is they want to buy Neymar and Griezmann other possible signings de Jong, de ligt. Eriksen is not a priority, 80 million, year left on his contract etc.

"Maybe, maybe, maybe"... At least you're not stating things as fact now. Progress.
I never did, you just took it that way.

I am going to start putting flax seeds in my cereal. It wasn't the big signing I was hoping for in my life this weekend, but flax will do.

I posted a load of Flax seed based scientific studies in Random, just scientific studies, was told it could be construed that I was giving medical advice, crock of shit but their choice.

Here are some of the studies I posted = Flax – Choose Life
Jesus christ, that place is going from bad to worse. People give medical advice there all the time ffs. :pochfacepalm:
It's like mini Tory rule over there.

To be honest, I was most angry that they blocked me from all IP addresses, and I'd used the thread as a holding point for studies, until my website was setup, so it made me spend an extra 20 odd hours regathering all the data, bastards! But, it made me learn the data that little bit deeper.

Anyway, it's a lot more freely moderated here, so I'll try to keep it out of the main Spurs threads, except when I see fatigue etc. Which is usually more about the alkaline mineral fluid dynamic side.

764 pages.

Flax seeds is all I get.

You lot should all be on a watchlist.

Budwig said it was about their surplus of electrons (seeds in general, to generate such growth, and that Flax is most abundant in electron surplus of the seeds), which reignite the cells respiratory capability, it is called an electron shower by some, which I like a lot. She knew.

You know that subtle sense of wellbeing everyone gets from being by the seaside, this is an environmental form of that same ionising effect IMO (as demonstrated by the countless Grounding and Earthing studies now complete).

You Norse types are all about the Cod Liver Oil though my friend, the Viking ships used to have a big drum of fermented cod liver oil tied to the mast (or on deck, it states in "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration"), to help stave of hosts of ailments.

I will truly shut it now (unless some fool re-engages me!).

Think Toby and Eriksen are what's holding a lot of our transfers back, once those decisions are made then things will get moving for us ...

Same across Europe - Hazard done, De Jong done, Hernandez done, Jovic done now just waiting on Pogba, Bale, De Gea, Griezmann, Felix, Coutinho, De Ligt, ... once these 100m plus moves happen then the whole market kicks into overdrive ... but until that billion dollars gets spread around patience remains the key ....

Agree to some extent with the 100m transfers, but ,Bale for example could be a late (ISH) transfer - it's a question of Madrid agreeing that they will fund a higher % of Bales wages for the remainder of his contract than they have suggested they will do so far. Until the.y do that Bale is going nowhere. So I'm guessing before 3rd week of July as if Madrid leave it too late all the few potential buying clubs will have already done their big business and won't have a big enough budget left.

Think Spurs can/could complete several transfers before the 100m transfers get sorted - such as Ndombele, Sessegnon and even Lo Celso if the selling clubs agreed lower fees than they started out with - but after that I think Spurs will sit on their hands until it's clear whether Toby and Eriksen are staying or going before concluding any further business as it's not clear which positions need strengthening until then.

Meanwhile I can see Spurs trying to move several transfers forward without finalising them do as to cover CB, striker RB AM etc so that whichever position definitely needs strengthening due to players leaving gets rapidly done.

Still hoping for 4 - 6 in ( including youngsters such as Clarke) but think that several of them could be in the last couple of weeks of the TW,.

I would hope we can tie a deal up for Lo Celso more he is a high calibre signing with all the traits of being a world beater he's played in a much more competitive leagues and could under Poch could probably slot straight into the side whilst Ndombele looks a great player we are talking French league I think like Sissoko it would take a season to bed him in to the team.

Also wondered what you guys think of Eliif Elmas?

I hope it's true we have offered €19 million plus Jansson and that the bid is accepted because Elmas looks like he could be one of the finest around for such a fee.

Huge transfer news - I’ve been working tirelessly to arrange this and am so happy to have finally reached an agreement.

Sainsbury’s have officially transferred me to a new store from the 20th of August!
