Would love Ndombele but how much more can we realistically spend if he's going for 50-65m?

We made a 150m I think this year, plus there is money to spend from previous windows, so I'd say 200m for this summer. I don't think any of the transfer budget should be used to pay off the stadium.Realistically how much before sales can and should the gaffer expect then? We are looking at at least 10-15 years of automatically shaving £60m off of any budgets to pay off the stadium and loan interest which needs to be taken into account as well.
I think a budget of £50m each window moving forward is pretty fair given our circumstances, this summer around due to our ridiculous run in the Champions League I say the boss should get £100m to do his little rebuild, especially as he spent zilch last summer and made a rumoured £11m back in the sale of the big Moose.
Much will depend on how much we can get from scruffy peripheral players like Janssen, Nkoudou, Onomah, CCV and one of our RBs.
He's gone isn't he?
(yes I know it's his birthday still seems odd though)
No.
Ndombele would be an amazing signing, potentially our best ever, but he's still only plugging a gap in the squad that should have been filled last Summer. We still desperately need a new right back, we desperately need a new defensive midfielder, and desperately need a new attacking option. And that's before we factor in sales of Toby or Eriksen.
Getting in Ndombele would be an amazing piece of work by the club, but if he's all that's brought in this Summer it'll be another failed window.
Completely incomparable mate. How about Skipp, Walker-Peters and Edwards? Maybe wishful thinking but then Harry Kane happened so maybe not?
Harry was allowed to go out on loan and develop. Poch seems to see sending a player away on loan as a last resort. But as a result of that we see players get stuck in the doldrums and waste valuable development time. How about Skipp, Walker-Peters and Edwards? It really is incredible that if you're a youth player under Poch, and you go on loan, that's basically your Spurs career done and dusted.Harry was allowed to go out on loan and develop. All three of those guys need first team football to grow not only as professionals, but as people. Kane spoke massively in his players tribune about how he grew as a person whilst out on loan and outside of his safety net.
Winks is the only youth player that has come through for us under Poch that has not been on loan I am fairly certain. Kane did loans, Mason was on loan, Andros was on loan.
The only one aside from Winks that I can think of that did not spend time away on loan was Bentaleb. And we all know how that went.

We'll see. It's the romance of the academy I guess. It's the same with Onomah and Carter-Vickers. CCV played left sided central defense at Swansea. Onomah at shef wed I'm not sure about. I'm looking for a forum for some feedback. He was set. Goodness knows what happened to him though?Completely incomparable mate.
Skipp for sure is a talent but no where near ready to truly challenge for a starting spot in the league. Poch clearly has major reservations about KWP. And Edwards will be playing in League 1 in a few seasons unless he seriously changes his mentality.
It's unfair to compare any academy graduates to Kane IMO. He's just a freak of nature.

I'd rather that Poch didn't throw our model in the bin, we need to refine it, Bayern have only spent more than 40 million on a player once, Lyon paid 8 million on Ndombele. Were missing a trick here, we should have one of the best scouting networks in the world, instead I'm not even sure if we have one at all. Prices are going up, If we insist on getting top level players, 50 mil a season, isn't going to cut it.
Expectations will have to be lowered whether Poch is still at the helm or not.
